Romantic Italian Restaurant Italienische Romantic Restaurante Ristorante Italiano Romantico Restaurante Romantico Italiano
We had dinner here on our last night in Gran Canaria and had a great meal here. Itâs run by a couple, the chef is Italian and pretty much everything on the menu is homemade including some of the pastas. All our food was cooked to perfection with big portions, I would definitely eat here again anytime I am down this way, staff are lovely and friendly and the food is above average Italian and really delicious.

The Canarian chamber of commerce recommended this restaurant as a place with traditional Canarian food. And in fact, it is a really traditional place. When getting in you arrive at a little bar and it doesnt look like a restaurant. But when asking for food we were taken to a room behind which was full with Canarian people, most families having lunch. We were the only tourists. I loved this atmosphere of loud speaking Spanish people, tables without table cloth etc. Really sincere atmosphere. Only one of the staff could speak English but everything worked out fine. The food was kind of cheap, simple but traditional (I assume) and just good.Worth a visit. Also really nice road half way on the mountain.Credit card accepted.Hi, Maximilian, thank you so much for your words, we hope see you again!

Specialists in grill foods; beefs, t-bones, etc., but all so home made starters and main courses (croquettes, lasagne, gout stew and rabbit in his own souse, pork rips and much more) !! Famous home made deserts: cheese cake, american cookies, lemon cake,
Again staying overnight in Vecindario we entrusted ourselves to Iulian and his staff for sustinence and they came up trumps. My wife, not being hungry, had a starter of prawns and garlic. There was plenty and I sampled the dish which was perfect. I had the Dorado served with Veg as I generally eat fish in Spain and Iulian was lucky to get the bones back. topped off with a couple of beers and a bottle of water an enjoyable evening was had. Thank you Iulian and staff looking forward to returning soon.Hello dear customer! We are so pleased that you decided to take a moment from your time and sheared with the world and with us all so, your experience; thanks to people like you, our motivación grows every day!Your satisfaction it's our most important wish.Hope see you soon!Caindly :The Staff

In our kitchens smells marinated, countryside, sea and delicious soups cooked with the best products. Of land, the fruits gilded by the sun. Ocean, pearls rocked by the waves. Del monte, inheritance of origins. Restaurante Casa Antonio Jaen combines produ
After we've been ignored for the second time at the so-called "bike friendly restaurant" across the road (they are definitively NOT friendly there, be warned) we decided to try our luck at Casa Antonio. My god, why didn't we go there earlier! No waiting time (important for a hungry cyclist!), super friendly reception, clean toilets, and food to die for. Recommend part. the fried cheese (no batter!) with palm honey; this seems to be the signature starter of the restaurant.Fantastic meal, very reasonably priced, and a truly welcoming reception. Would go there anytime again.Muchas gracias por elegirnos ,es un placer recibirles de nuevo en casa antonio.Un abrazo

When you enter they tell you to feel at home. After 5 minutes you truly feel as if you are. Except with food that is truly amazing and better than you can ever dream of cooking up yourself! The service is lovely and the food even better! This is our second visit and we will be sure to come back in the next few days! A true Canarian experience, be sure to try it! Thank you so much Cindy K. We are honored with your comments. We really love to have customers feeling at home and it is a pleasure to see them coming again ...my father feels overwhelmed with your words. A really big hug from heart to heart.

We stopped at the Tasquita on our way to the airport. The place is a nice Tappas restaurant, with an ample selection of dishes, all typical mediterranean. The service was super friendly and we had a good time.

Come and enjoy the best Italian cuisine in Vecindario. Be surrounded by the authentic Neapolitan vibe, from the music to the interior design. An unique experience that you need to try.
Family run Italian Trattorias can be hard to found, but this little gem in Vecindario is well worth discovering. Just minutes of the main GC1 South of Las Palmas Airport, it's a truly Mother and son affair with delicious hand made dishes thoughout the menu. In this intimate little place we not only enjoyed great food, but the chance to chat about what makes Italian food so great with the owners. Both the pizza and pasta dishes we ate were freshly made and first class, while the hand made Cannoli and slightly less traditional Brownie were equally fantastic.Although relatively quiet at this time of year - especially on a Monday night, it's clearly a place that's busy most days and popular with locals and holiday makers alike. If you love Italian food, you'll love Costa Italia as much as we did.

Highly enjoyable meal. Ours was based on fish/seafood with excellent starters of shellfish soup and octopus with romesco sauce, preceded by wrinkly potatoes, on the house. Main courses were local fish ('wreck fish', according to Wikipedia) in seafood sauce and leek tart. The latter wasn't quite on the button being covered in an oversweet tomato-based sauce, a day both mains could have been hotter. Excellent puds of lemon tart and milk fritter plus on really good and on the house grapefruit aguadiente. Very good value at â¬35 per person. Note that this place is well off the usual tourist routes and you'll need competent Spanish. But well worth it.

Our favourite restaurant on the island and our third visit in nine months, El Apendre definitely deserves the epithet âhidden gemâ situated close to the village of La Sorrueda high in the mountains about 50 minutes drive from Maspalomas. The drive up is nothing short of spectacular with stunning views back down to the coastline and the roads are excellent and well maintained. Head towards the regional town of Santa Lucia and then take left fork at the local white walled cemetery signposted to La Sorrueda and La Fortaleza. Follow the minor road down the hill, ignore a right hand sign to the village and you will see the restaurant ahead of you. Parking is opposite along the side of the road.Food here is simple tapas with a choice of meats veg and salad and very generously proportioned. The setting is divine with the majority of tables outside on a small shaded terrace with the smell of wood smoke and peaceful countryside all around. Lunch today consisted of a simple tuna and egg salad starter followed by pork chops, local sausage cooked with apples and dates and Canarian potatoes on the side. As always we ordered more than we could manage but thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. The restaurant is run by what I assume is a husband and wife team. English is spoken enough to get by and they DO take credit cards, but this is definitely not your usual tourist fare. Including coffee and liqueurs total bill today was â¬35.Make sure you take a walk to the end of the track afterwards - lovely views over the valley will be your reward. An alternative route back to the motorway can take you via Cocodrilo Park a fabulous animal sanctuary about half an hour away to complete a wonderful day out in the mountains.
