Restaurant in the lovely Hotel La Caminera. This is a must-do if you are in the area and there is absolutely no excuse to miss it if you are staying in the Hotel. I went for one of the 2 set menus, which was rather inexpensive in light of the quality and quality of the food and the great service. I also added the wine pairing which was a very good choice (great sommelier).The food was beautifully presented, and the quality of the (mainly locally sourced) produce was high. The service was impeccable and the wine selection was a perfect match. The restaurant itself is relatively minimalist and small, so you should book in advance. Stopped for lunch on our way from Madrid to Córdoba.Don't be fooled by the look from the Street - move up the stairs to the real Restaurant (ground floor = bar).We enjoyed the Menu with two courses plus Dessert incl. bread and water.All cooked freshly and authentic - see the pictures ...

TÃpico restaurante de carretera en la ruta entre Madrid y AndalucÃa, junto a una gasolinera. Sin problemas de aparcamiento ya que hay mucho espacio para ello. Restaurante aseado que oferta un menú al precio de 10â¬, sin duda lo mejor de todo. El menú es bastante correcto en todos los aspectos, aunque lo vivamente no puedes esperar platos espectaculares. Recomendable si se hace esa ruta

What a great evening rounded by good friends and even better food. We started with some tapas: anchovies, spanish jamon, mediterranean shrimp, croquettes and delicious red mullet, all adviced by the owner, who was attentive and kind. The meat was awesome too. Pig let cooked in wood stove was my choice. Couldn't be better. The best stop in our way to Andalucia.
