Piccola Trattoria offers delicious Italian and Sicilian cuisine in an intimate, warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu carries a variety of authentic Italian style dishes, ranging from fresh seafood and game, to homemade pasta recipes, and homemade pizzas
My wife took me here for my birthday. The service and food were excellent.Parking is sparse and the restaurant's lot is valet only which is unusual for Santa Clarita. But we found parking on the street and made the short walk to the restaurant.

My first Greek fast food. I am not a lamb lover so I went with my family planning on eating a salad. I was greatful they talked me into eating the chicken. It was delicious. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The place is clean and pleasent. Wish they had one in Connecticut.

It is a 'sister' restaurant to George's Bistro, Santa Monica CA
My husband and I visited for a late lunch/early dinner on a weekday. We have been on a quest to seek out new restaurants to try and this was one of them. I was pleasantly surprised by such a nice restaurant in a shopping mall. The exterior with outside seating was inviting and the inside had nice splashes of color making it both happy looking and contemporary. A bonus is that they have a glass walled in area for private parties. We started with soups -- tomato bisque for the husband and a cucumber and honeydew melon gazpacho for me. Both were delicious and very hearty portions of soup. It was especially nice to have a cold soup option on our hot So. Calif. summer days. My husband selected the beef koobideh for his entrée and I had the filet mignon kabob (barg). Again, both were delicious. I especially appreciated that they brought a shaker of sumac to the table as it is so good sprinkled on the rice and meat. I was not so much a fan of the cucumber yogurt kind of sauce and wish they offered a thick yogurt and moussir option. Service was very attentive and timely. As the afternoon turned to evening, more diners arrived and soon the place was filled up. The menu had many delectable dishes so we will definitely be returning to try more concoctions. This place has more to offer than Mediterranean fare, with something for everyone. That being said, we do appreciate the emphasis on Mediterranean as we need more establishments like that in the SCV.
