I was hesitant to try this place since everyone I knew didn't have good things to say. When my friend decided to have her birthday dinner here, I figured this would be a great opportunity to test it out for myself. it is right in the heart of downtown rota. Enjoy your lunch or dinner with beautiful views along the beach. We were a big party of 14 but they had no problems accommodating us. The service was excellent and they were able to keep up with our group as well as another big group that was seated next to our party. Food came out in good timing which surprised a lot of us. I can only vouch for my entree and it was amazing. I ordered the salmon in a puff pastry with creamy dill sauce. A very simple dish but packed with so much flavor. The dish comes with 4 pastry puffs and it is very filling. A majority of the group was a first timer here and it looked like they all enjoyed their orders. As i was eyeing everyone's dishes, they all looked good and makes me want to return again to bring my foodie partner here.

Located in the Moorish streets of Rota, right in the Center of Rota, we maintain the traditional of our gaditana gastronomy, from the dressings passing by the fried fish, grilled fish and grilled meats.
Totally hidden little restaurant specializing in fresh fish. Delicious tapas, fish is fantastic, very friendly staff. Inside and outside eating. I had fresh dorada, and pork cheek to start - both were wonderful. The grilled langostines were delicious. Nice beer (Alhambra) and good wine. The black rice with seafood and Ali oil is the greatest! Highly recommend
Here you can indulge in culinary delights in a Mediterranean ambience. The varied menu will not only delight rice lovers in all their most authentic ways. The specialties include traditional paella such as "Valencia" or "Señoret", as well as the typical "
We were staying in a hotel in Chipiona, and we were looking for a restaurant to get lunch. This restaurant is inside the hotel Barceló, in Costa Ballena. The restaurant has a beautiful view to see the golf course. We loved the recommendation of have two started and a maincourse (Paella). We decided to get Red Rice. We loved the attention of Jose Miguel, he recommend us the food and a fantastic red wine from Cádiz. It's difficult that someone speak english in the area and Jose Miguel did it very well, and he made us to feel like in home. Amazing place to get tipical food from Cádiz and incredible paella. And an incredible attention.

This is a higher end chiringuito in Rota. The staff is friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was amazing. The views are beautiful and the decor is elevated, yet beachy. The entire meal was an experience. We went at about 2:00PM, and stayed until 4:00PM. We were not rushed, all of our courses came in a timely manor, and the special drink, on the house, provided at the end was delicious!

Our El Embarcadero restaurant-bar is integrated into the Hotel Duque de Nájera in the historic centre of Rota right at the end of the La Costilla beach boulevard, next to the Astaroth fishing port and dock. It is a magnificent place to taste one of the be
Lovely place but the food for me anyway seemed too fancy or trying to be. I ordered the crab croquettes to start an tuna tartar for main - pics attached (see what you think) and they were ok, not super tasty or filling which I expected they would have been (tasty I mean) so I was a little disappointed. I think my money was better spent elsewhere but the place looked great. Dear Client,Thank you for your comments. We look forward to welcome you back so you can taste more dishes and see that we have all kind of food.Best regards,Sophie De Clerck

In the historic center of Rota, you can enjoy homemade food and local fresh fish, also you can taste the best wines of the area.
Very friendly waiter, good choice from the menu, fair prices, but we make the mistake of ordering the grilled squid, for which no price is listed. Why worrying? Itâs just a squid, right? Wrong! It comes out itâs 50 Euro a kilo, so we pay 25 Euro each just for the squid.

We went there 4 times ( we stayed in Rota for 12 days). Best tapas in town because they are somehow diffrent from the traditional ones. For example we had Bao Buns, crispy ravioli, burrito with rulo the cabra...etc. Therefore I would love to recomand this restaurant to you!! Prices are more than fair... a small beer for 1.20, a coke or fanta for 1.50

La Dolce Vita is a small Italian trattoria, located in the old town of Rota a few meters from the marina. It has a great team, a good selection of Italian wines, pastas and homemade desserts in a cozy place.
We are a family of four, looking for adventures and food! This night, we went out to La Dolce Vita, which is a quaint little restaurant by the beach. The waitress was extremely sweet and she was happy to tell us about where each breathtaking dish was from in Italy. We got to the restaurant at about seven forty five, which is early for Spain. But because we got there early we got an amazing table by the window. Each little menu was a different color and had a different design so it was more exciting to order food. We highly recommend the lasagna, because it has a magnificent flavor. Also, the spaghetti was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite adorable and clean, with wood floors and red and white checked tablecloths. All the waiters and waitresses were helpful and kind and answered any questions we had. The people who own the restaurant are from Italy so they are very willing to give any information about Italy and its foods. If you want to enjoy a delicious dinner, go here. Bon Appetite!
We are a kind coffe-bar with covered terrace. We also serve homemade traditional meals, daily stews and tapas
