Things to do in Rixensart
Difficult to believe but a top-hole vegetarian pay-by-weight healthy / organic lunch time café does exist - in Rixensart. This review will only concern those who are looking for something different in an unlikely setting. If you're a local health-food consumer, you will already know about "Vis ta mine". If you happen to be passing through though you may not know it's there, tucked away at the back of the "Autre chose" shop in an unremarkable small indoor shopping gallery. The food is glorious - you can either choose the dish of the day (which might not be vegetarian) or help yourself from a buffet of a wide variety of exciting and delicious vegetable and grain dishes. If you take the buffet, you pay by weight. The quality of the food is outstanding; little savoury muffins, pilafs, stews... all made with imagination, care and organic ingredients. The decor is charmingly world / alternative. The dining room is fairly small but there is also a terrace for those sunny balmy days of the Belgian summer.Only open at lunch time.
Top 10 Italian food in Rixensart, Walloon Brabant Province, Belgium

We've been here a few times before and we came back again in January for a weekday dine out. We've had good memories about this restaurant from past visit and we were happy to receive the same good service and excellent Italian food and good wines too. Two of the bottles we ordered from the list were no longer available so they proposed us a good bottle at the price (which was lower) of the one that run out. The Italian waiter gives it a nice added twist.

I went here simply to try the number one rated restaurant in Waterloo.I was initially worried as the entrance via a nondescript car park doesn't make it look too appealing, but inside it's nice. The staff were friendly and the food was good, but in all honesty, I can't say that this is the best restaurant in Waterloo - it's good, but not the best! Some other little things, I was regularly ignored when trying to order dessert, and it took me some time to order it.Worth a try though.

I read earlier reviews and we expected a simple but decent Lebanese restaurant. However it was very stylish. Nice interior of an old mansion styled house. One does not expect that from the outside. On top the food was also good and to a good level authentic. This from what I experienced in the Middle-East. A main waiter that served and advised us with passion. So a nice surprise overall if you expected less. If you into food of the Middle-East region a place to go.
