Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Rhodes. The largest of the twelve Dodecanese islands on the Aegean's eastern edge, Rhodes is also its most popular. The well-preserved medieval city of Rhodes sits at the north of the island of the same name. High rise hotels line the northern and eastern coastlines. Small villages and resorts dot the island's other shores. Whether your interests are beaches, bars or ancient sites, Rhodes offers an abundance of all three. Authentic Greece can be found in the hilly interior of the 50-mile-long island.

Best Family Restaurant in Town!Restaurant, which is located on the hill in calm Psinthos Town, Artemida is typical Greek family restaurant that all family members were working there. The service and waiters were friendly enough and fast. There were a lot of vegetarian choices, goat meats, mezes, salads and tasty drinks. Chickpea and moussaka were extremely good. All daily-fresh, attentive and big portions. They treat us with Revani dessert with tasty ice cream and liqueur. The price was very normal considering the good standard of food on offer. I really recommend everyone, especially after The Butterflies. (Kids friendly too)

Small and cozy vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Not cooking meet or fish you can find a big veriety of veggies, grains, pasta and lot of unusual elements in our plates Home made vegan desserts, refreshing home made drinks and smoothies
Stumbled on this place b6 chance at lunchtime today. Nice setting, small but nicely done and what a great choice of dishes on the menu from traditional greek, an vegan take on vegetarian dishes plus a more international type option. We had the cabbage, carrot and advocacy salad with an orange and maple syrup dressing, hummus and a variety of breads and cauliflower buffalo wings. Washed down with 500ml of house white wine. The food was lovely and loads more on the mine that we wanted to try. It was popular and everyone seemed t9 be enjoying their lunches. The only disappointment was the coffee, a bit tasteless but I wouldnât hold that against this place. We will go back to explore the menu a bit more and would definitely recommend it, to vegans, veggies, pescatarians and carnivores alike.

Traditional Greek taverna in Ialisos village next to Rhodes town with homemade mezedes and variety of wines and ouzo!
I am in town visiting my Greek family when my cousin and his wife suggested that we go here for dinner. Wow, what a really nice treat. There were so many good things on the menu we figured the best thing to do was to do a Mezze-style dinner and have a little bit of everything. We had octopus, keftedes (spiced Greek meatballs) dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), some kind of pork with a lemon sauce, mushrooms, saginake (Greek cheese), and some kind of spicy cheese dip. Of course we washed it down with Retsina wine. The food was very tasty and being that I am of Greek sent I say this with a little bit of background on the subject. In the states I typically donât go out any Greek food because I am disappointed and I want really good Greek food my mother and sister can make it much better than any restaurant I go to. However this restaurant was a great place to sample Local, fresh fare. Our service was very personable and attentive. I certainly give this place two thumbs up.

We are a modern restaurant offering fresh food aiming to satisfy our customers with tastes from the Greek, Italian, Mediterranean and Vegan cuisine.
Very stylish and clean place that is run professionally. Food was good and cooked perfect, in many other places you get soggy veggies etc but here everything was immaculately cooked. Slightly on the expensive side but nothing you can't handle. Lacking a bit of personality, but the cleanlines makes up for that bit.

Decided to drive inland for food after the beach, and I'm giving myself a pat on the back for it!! Just wizzed through other reviews and it's all been said. Excellent, mouth watering food. The goat with chickpeas, that has many reviews, was stunning and my wife was extremely happy with her pork souvlaki. Home made fries were delicious too. We had a greek salad too but this was no ordinary greek salad, it had some interesting and tasty additions that I've never seen before. The owners were very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. Wish I'd asked his name, but the guy / the son was attentive without being overly so and it was great to have a chat with him. He clearly wants to improve where people highlight anything but to be honest, if anyone walks out unhappy I'd be astonished. Might go back tomorrow actually as I want to try the dolmadakia . Before I forget, they're closed on Mondays.

Are you planning to visit Rhodes? Great hospitality, fantastic coffee and a big variety of beers and snacks is what you need for your break.
Delightful afternoon spent in beautiful small restaurant. All the family (who have very diverse tastes), agreed it was well worth the trip away from the all inclusive we've had for ten days. It feels like Sortiras (the owner) is welcoming you into his own home with the care and humour he provides. We chatted about his garden, his pets, attitudes to crime, history of Rhodes, why trees are painted white... and of course his delicious pizzas, which he takes pride in making right in front of you, using ingredients from his family farm. Well worth a trip and we will definitely return if we come back to the island.
