I past this place often on my way home. It is usually closed. One Saturday while visiting a friend, she let me taste some spicy hummus. I immediately left and got my own delicious. Maybe next time and try the baked goods.

My husband and I decided to try this place. Coming from Dearborn, we didn't have high expectations for this place, but we were mistaken. Service was quick (server didn't say much, but that's better sometimes). The chicken lemon rice soup had actual lemon flavor. The portions were large but not oversized. For twenty bucks, we each had a flavorful, substantial lunch of chicken shawarma and chicken tawook with unlimited pitas and garlic sauce. Everything was well-prepared and authentic. We will definitely come back again!

We went in for a quick shawarma wrap and head out but when we looked over the menu, we decided to have a meal. I had the shish kabob entree and my wife had the chicken shawarma entree. It comes with rice or fries and soup or salad. We both went with the rice and salad. The salad was fresh and well seasoned with a nice amount of dressing. We went with the rice with meat instead of regular rice and I've got to tell you it was well worth the extra charge for the upgrade. Both of our meals we cooked and seasoned so well. We each enjoyed every bite. This restaurant is clean and new. I watched over time as they removed and threw out everything inside and replaced with new. The quality and flavor of the food is a testament of it's cleanliness. The staff was so friendly and smiling and very willing to please. We will definitely be heading back soon.

We visited La Pita again this year for dinner on a Wednesday night. It wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. Our server walked by a few times but it took another server saying something to him before he came to our table. We had humus and pita (their fresh pita is amazing!) and my mom had falafel while I had a shwarma roll. We shared fatoosh as well. Everything was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

This was our first time visiting this establishment. The atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel welcomed right from the start. The food was absolutely the best Mediterranean food weâve ever had and we visit other restaurants in the area. This is it. If you want authentic reasonably priced food come no where else.
