Visited for Sunday lunch on Mothers Day and what a treat I had. A truly high quality roast dinner cooked to perfection. Friendly atmosphere, great location just a minute's walk from the seafront. Fabulous to be in a pub that isn't serving 'large chain menu pub grub'. This place is quirky, full of history, serves great food with genuinely friendly staff. What a perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Well it was quite when we arrived. So the service was fast,waitress or server was very pleasant and helpful. Food was excellent we had a family style platter.so you get 2 cold starters lamb shish,chicken shish,2 lamb chops lamb ribs,chicken wings about 6/8 of those lamb kofte and chicken kofte was about £55 pounds for 4 persons I thought was good value. The service was on the slow side, it took ages for our cold starters to arrive as well as the main course, In fact at one stage we almost decided to get up and leave. In respect of the main meals, we felt that they were very expensive for what you got, the deep fried meatballs! came with no sauce and were clearly not authentic, but bought in as was the chicken kebab. Overall very disappointing and not somewhere we would go to again.Hello We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your experience. Great vibe, excellent coffee and lovely Italian light bites. As I was driving and going out to eat that evening I didnât get to sample the wines and slightly more substantial eats, however lovely ambiance, almost âhipster â with an Italian atmosphere and lovely helpful staff/ owner. Will return soon. Highly recommended.

As visitors We've been here before and remember having a lovely meal and today was no disappointment. Passing through Ramsgate we decided we'd park up and have something to eat and remembering this restaurant we thought there was no point looking around for anything else so headed straight for it. Arriving we noted it was busy but we were greeted by Marie (the delightful owner) and was told they could accommodate us even when we asked to sit outside. We had a really charming, attentive and efficient waiter who helped make our meal a really wonderful experience. Going for a pizza base garlic bread, pizza, dessert (made with their genuine Italian Gelato) and simply delicious coffee we experienced what my partner and I described as THE perfect meal. Every course was delicious and delivered caringly right up until the coffee (Italian, potent, smooth and tasty). This family run Italian restaurant is set in a delightful building and offers true Italian hospitality and simple yet really tasty food. Despite them being busy we were never rushed or left unattended. Like I said earlier this was (again) a perfect meal. Thanks to everyone at the Alexandra Ristorante.

We popped in the restaurant at lunchtime to book at table for the evening, when we arrived just before the reservation they had let the table to another party and there was only one other table in use. Please don't go there.Sorry Tom ..Heads will roll as it was unacceptable

Had our anniversary meal , and we have been very pleased with amazing , freshly cooked food and outstanding service . Even tho was Thursday evening , restaurants was fairly busy and food was delivered within 20 min . Definitely be back soon :)

Our first visit to this restaurant since they moved premises in Ramsgate. What a little gem, fantastic menu and a good selection of wine. The food was excellent with service to match. We would recommend this restaurant with it great ambiance and decoration.
