Great bar. Best in town. Nice open plan. Doesn't seem to be any staff. Or booze. I think they've left. Lol
Quiet and warm restaurant, surrounded by a beautiful garden. You will enjoy fresh seafood and excellent meats on an open grill spectacle. We serve wine, local beer and delicious fresh juice smoothies to accompany your meal. We call ourselves a Mediterrane
Hubby and I enjoyed every bite of our food. We were on the hunt for the best red snapper in town and all of the restaurants we tried Playa Chiquita Grill had the best snapper hands down. Great taste and texture, cooked just right. Sea Bass was also amazing. We loved it and recommend everyone eat here. Clean and delicious! And Great Drinks. Pura Vida!
Authentic Napolitana-Style pizza baked in a traditional brick wood oven. American cuts of meat made on an open fire grill. Offering gluten free pizzas & delicious vegan options. Capicce?
We came here because 2 of the 8 of our group are gluten free and we heard that they have handmade gluten free pizza crust made from yuca, so we just HAD to try! The food and the staff was AMAZING! The sad part was that when we got there, they only had one gluten free crust left for the night, but it is what it is. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but I'm also vegetarian and the other girl who's gluten free is not. The chef offered to make her a meat dish instead, so that worked for her and we just split the one gluten free pie together. You can def split a pie between at least 2 people. The shrimp was good and so was the steak that the chef made for my friend. Nothing was even "okay" it was all "delicious". HEADS UP: the focaccia bread is the size of a whole pizza! It's not like a small loaf. We found this out the hard way, by ordering 2 of them! WAAYY too much pizza for us to finish, but we just had it for breakfast the next day. Pricing is a little high, but the quality and taste of the food make it worth it! If you want amazing pizza, go here!Kelly, thank you for your review. Weâre pleased that you had such a fine experience dinning with us. Pura Vida!

Not only is the food and pizza professionally prepared, cooked (pizza in a brick wood stove) and served, the staff were bright and helpful, paying attention to detail and food choices. Most of all, it was deliciously prepared ala Napoli style! While there, ask Joanne, the waitress from the Netherlands, about the new âMonkey Squeezedâ iced tea bottle! Sheâll explain further ;)All in all, this was our âgo toâ place for a good and tasty meal. We loved it!

This is a special place - set back from the road on a lovely veranda. The owner is great and we had a really wonderful meal full of special touches, like him bringing out a bit of tortilla espanol and garbanzos while we waited. Overall it felt like a really special evening, a touch of Spain in Costa Rica. But we found some of the food a little lackluster. As vegetarians my husband and I didn't have loads of options for a main course, but decided to try to vegan paella. Though the presentation was nice and the texture perfect, it was bland and included no protein. Our kids (not vegetarian) had the tenderloin, which they loved, but the sides it came with were overcooked and strangely seasoned - they went uneaten. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant in any case...make a reservation or you're not likely to get a table!

I am vegetarian gluten-free sugar-free eater, so Italian restaurants don't really work for me normally, but after I was dragged there against my will, the diet went right out the window, along with my character. It is the best Italian food I've ever had! I had just pasta with herbs. You get the plate and it looks like just pasta with nothing on it, but tastes like a 1980 party with confetti! Gluten-free what?! Then it spiraled down hill quickly, with some sort of creme filled chocolate goodness, biscotti, ginger sorbet, bread. Count on few pounds of gluten! Good luck!

Soda/Restaurant in the heart of Cocles. Lunch and Diner available all the week . Special day plate depending what kind of fish is catching in the morning. Only fresh food cooking at moment. Pizza at night. May and June open only for dinner
We visited this restaurant after seeing reviews online, however it was a disappointing visit. The complimentary soup was tasty, along with the bruschetta which was very nice.I had the bolognase pasta which was bland and didn't have much flavour. My boyfriend had the fish which was drenched in coconut sauce and overpowering any other flavour.Service was good and very attentive.

I don't usually write reviews but this time I felt compelled. The meal was simply delicious. The owners Francesca and Danilo are the perfect hosts. The food is a reflection of Danilo's passion for cooking. Real Italian food. Fresh ingredients and homemade pasta and seafood cooked to perfection. These two really know what they're doing!
