After nearly 60 miles of walking we deserved a treat and this was it. Excellent starters of fish soup and omelette followed by a really great steak. Wish we were here another night .

We stayed in one of the Ganbara apartments above this restaurant. We ate at the restaurant for dinner - and it was incredible - every dish was superb - even the tomato and mozarella was fresh and delicious. Local foods and wine - all great. Highly recommended.

La Fonda De Tito

I was surprised at the amount of excellent reviews. I dismissed the several negative reviews as over 100 stated that the food was either very good or excellent. We were the only diners on a Friday night at 6pm ??? Why ? Where were the locals eating ? The picture of front makes look like a high end resturant. We ate down the back that was more like a cheap cafe area. The food was okay. It was functional but it is not excellent or very good. The reviews are over the top. Trust me. It is good value as you get a 3 course dinner for 10 euro.

So - words of advice and warning:Firstly, you pay in advance (14 euros, great value) unless you are staying there in which case you should have a ticket for your meal which you need to produce The starters are unlimited and consist not just of the excellent salad choices but also of hot stuff like beans, paella etc. Get stuck in You get ONE shot at choosing from the main course buffet which is served to you at a servery. Also, the meals on the servery change as they run out so your friends may have tuna and you may have cod as your fish choice etc.IMPORTANT - serve yourself from the taps with Red, Rose or white wine which is all perfectly acceptable. Also take a flagon of cold water to your table. Finally help yourself to a nice range of desserts and/or fruit salad and ice cream from the freezer. It was all pretty good quality and we were, needless to say, full up.I would definitely recommend it

After a long day of hiking the Camino de Santiago we stopped to stay at the hostal/pension attached to this sidreria. We had dinner outside at the edge of the parking lot and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and service. It was the best food we had so far after a week of hiking the Camino. The menestra de verduras featured fresh locally grown vegetables including artichokes and we chose the zucchini stuffed with seafood as our second plate. Per the waiter's recommendation we chose the homemade lemon yogurt cream which was heavenly. I asked the chef to accompany me on the Camino to be my personal chef as his food was so delicious! The hostal service, mainly Alberto, was incredibly friendly and helpful. They let us use their washing machine and gave us clothesline space to dry our clothes. The room was small but comfortable and clean with very hot water. I would love to return here next time.
