I had been to this place a few years earlier and had been pleasantly surprised at the time. This time it was just as good with the seafood antipasti (around 10) as imaginative and surprising as the first time.

Abbiamo cenato in gruppo qui. Eccezionale.

Cibus is located in the small village of Santadi where time stands still. The restaurant is thus a hidden gem waiting to be explored. You don't go there just to eat but to take in an experience of Sardinian food that is hard to be rivalled. The setting is very romantic in a small courtyard from where one can observe the open kitchen. We were a party of four and each dish we sampled was exquisite yet simple which is the essence of the food on the island. If you visit south Sardinia, make sure you include this restaurant as part of your culinary itinerary and you won't be disappointed, but only if you book in advance.

We went there as a group of six including three English students studying Italian. The meat menu was protein packed and way too much meat but the pizzas were huge, just one course, delicious and very satisfying. We sat outside. The atmosphere was relaxing. Staff attentive but not crowding you. I would recommend this restaurant for a Sardinian cultural experience.

We came up to see the caves and spent the whole afternoon at the grotto and the Trattoria is Zuddas restaurant, enjoying the food, the patio, and the caves. We recommend the antipasto del pastore (shepherd's appetizer) consisting of prosciutto, local cheese, artichokes, olives, flatbread, grilled vegetables, local fried ravioli and local 'burnt' bread, Outstanding. And two portions were enough for four of us. By the time the mains arrived, we were nearly full. For mains we went with pasta. The aubergine-filled ravioli were considered excellent by three typically very fussy Italian eaters at our table. For the hand-made tagliatelle, the busy waitress graciously offered to swap the tomato sauce to a meat ragout. We all agreed this was a fine choice. The portions were generous and well-priced. We had wanted to order salads and other 'secondi' and dessert, but the antipasti and primi were enough to fill us up. The main dishes were priced at less than â¬10 each.If you like wine, the house red is from the prized local Cantina di Santadi. It's a little strong and served cold in the traditional way. If it is too strong for your taste, do as the locals and dilute it with a little water (sacrilege, I know!). If you want a truly fine wine from the same vinery, try the more expensive gold-medal winning Terre Brune. The service was friendly and attentive enough, but not overbearing. It felt like we were at the hostess's home, rather than at a restaurant. We spent a delightful afternoon here and hope you do too.(P.S. do not confuse this restaurant with the other eatery near the Grotto is Zuddas, which is called Agriturismo which some locals warned us to avoid.)

An inviting and charming bistro/bar situated in the heart of Sant'Anna Arresi. From live music, sky sports and friendly staff you can be sure to enjoy your time here.

We had dinner with 7 friends and were surprised of the quality, the friendliness and the value for money. We all ordered different dishes and everything tasted amazing. Great seafood and very good meat dishes. The owner speaks fluent german and helps in translating and explaining the dishes.

One of the island's little treasures. The restaurant is situated in the historical center of Tratalias. Opposite the old church you find this amazing restaurant. The food is excellent. It was so good that we came back twice. The scenery is fab, pure luxury. The restaurant has a vast selection of fresh fish that is shown to you and of which you can pick and choose! From start to finish it is superb. Selection of distillery is fantastic, showcasing various specialities. Same goes for the wines and digestives. But the food is what we came for. We love our selection of seafood in Sardinia and this restaurant didn't let down on it's reputation. Fresh fish, fantastic flavours and combination. Make sure you book upfront as it is fully booked each evening! Enjoy the food and scenery.

An eco friendly structure within a biodynamic farm run by a much lovable German-Sardinian family with a heartfelt Steiner style. Not for those who are looking for traditional Sardinian dishes, it offers good healthy food and interesting events. The place is heaven on earth for kids!

EVENTS OUR MENUTANIT and its Salt Restaurant ...Rooms are spacious and nice outdoor seating confidential or welcome guests to keep the flavors of the cuisine of Sardinia and internationally. We will meet you for a drink, lunch or dinner on the veranda or i
This was at least a very interesting place to eat, as the owners are making their restaurant a museum at the same time: a lot of cool ancient stuff is placed around - so it's worth the visit just for that. The food itself tends to be very local, and the dishes we tried were very nice. As the restaurant is located in the middle of nowhere and it was after the end of the tourist season, it was empty, and we enjoyed 5-star service by the staff, hungry for visitors, so it was a superb experience.
