Dinner with friends in this wonderful country hamlet. The food is five star, the setting is wonderful but the cherry on the cake was the enthusiastic service from the owner who evidently has a passion for what she does. Absolutely fantastic country restaurant. Actually it also serves as a grocery, but the true power lies in the few tables behind the main counter where all the magic is served. Local country food at reasonable prices. All ingredients are from the neighbouring fields, personnel is great and extremely kind. A place to go if in the area!

I've been coming here for many years, and it's a lovely intimate tuscany restaurant on the hills souh of fFlorence ingredients very fresh, pasta home made, and you can eat under the veranda which, in summer time, is a pleasant experience. Exceptional the Fritto ( mix of fried meat and vegetables in season , a must!, including the rekniwn veal- brain, a typical dish in this area. Price with a good bottle of wine ⬠30/ea

We were coming back from ordering wines from Frescobaldi and suddenly felt terrible hunger - - - happen´s to me quite often. Luckily we found Bastian and were able to order a decent lunch. Food was really good authentic Italian and prices are more than affordable. Also the service was friendly.This is not a place for top cuisine romantic dinner, but at least our experience was more than satisfying.

Quaint restaurant outside of Florence in a beautiful location. The chef personally came out and explained the menu to us. The selection was plentiful... Beef, pork, and fish for the second. The pasta selections for the first plate are unique and the combination of flavors are perfect. This a treat and a must visit while in the area.

We really enjoyed choosing the fresh fish before they prepared them for our meal. Great local wines and service with a smile were a real treat. If you're close to Pontassieve, try it out! (Note that this restaurant is close to the train station.)

I have been to Artemide with a group 10 friends for a Saturday lunch. Artemide delivered excellence from all points of view. We had a full lunch: antipasti, primi (3 types of pasta to share), secondi (meat and vegetarian dishes for some of us), dessert. All was excellently prepared. Typical Tuscan kitchen but not too obvious. The portions, though we ordered a lot of different dishes, were just right: not too much, not too little. We followed the suggestions of the waiter, who took all the necessary time to explain, advice and listen to us (while cracking funny jokes). The setting was amazing, right in the middle of the Tuscan hills with an incredible view on the green landscape. On top of that, I paid less than I was expecting. Highly recommended.
