Specials always comes to mind when eating out, how ever, the specials tonight, were in fact tasteless, disappointments!! Now we know why they are cheaper then the main menu. Dry pastas, sauce lacking, seasoning missing, woody hard bottomed mushrooms, dry over cooked chorizo. Cod croquettes that were simply mash puree with a splash of fish juice!! All in all a total waste of time going and money spent! If you want dry tasteless pastas save yourself the extra 10 feet walk and go to belle next door!!

Firstly it was open for an early supper. Walked in and offered a table straight away Menu at first looked interesting and after a good search through went for bruschetta smoked salmon and avocado wife went for scallops. There certainly was plenty to eat. Tasty juicy light and moorish plus scallops were cooked to perfection Main course was the special and this is the first time I have enjoyed bulgar wheat. Along with a good salad and the main kebab plus real chips. Very tasty then the mushroom risotto was superb too. All accompanied by a Tempranillo which again was great. Then we chatted to the owner who is a quietly spoken nice chap and were offered a complimentary after dinner drink So it was nice to eat in an independent restaurant before strolling on our way to meet more friends It is always so lovely to read review's about the restaurant, all produce for the restaurant is locally sourced, so we value our chef's and the owner choosing the best ingredients, to create amazing tastes on your plate. Thank you for your review, we are so glad you enjoyed your meal with us, we hope that you talk about us to everyone near and far. It was a pleasure to serve you.The Le Monde Team

What a fabulous little restaurant! Delicious, authentic Turkish cuisine, friendly service and a delightfully intimate atmosphere. It was perfect for the small family celebration of our Ruby Wedding anniversary. The chef's special chicken dish was attractively presented and several in our party opted for it. Others chose the Iskender kebab, and one person had fish. Salads were crisp and fresh with a light, yummy dressing. Our starters included red lentil soup flavoured with fresh herbs, an auberfine dish and plates of mixed meze. All very tasty. The baklava tasted fresh and wonderfully sweet and nutty. Gin lovers should definitely try the fragrant Turkish Delight gin, which has a delicate rose flavour and comes dressed with iced fruits.Nice attention to detail and a relaxed ambience. All very Turkish! Everything anyone could want for a lovely dining experience. And reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommendedThank you so much for your lovely review. Its really does mean a lot to hear that our chefs and waitresses are meeting customer expectations. We hope to see you again in the future. Kind Regards The Management Team

food has dropped in quality since changing the staff and with screaming female staff makes the restaurant very noisy and almost unbearable you go for a quiet meal and from one end of the restaurant all you can hear is her screeching

An unexpected surprise, booked because I had a voucher, did not expect great things, but oh boy was I wrong. Greek food better than we have had in Athens, seafood to die for. A real gem, friendly staff and sensible pricing. We will come back!

Have been here a couple of times in the last few weeks and we will definitely continue to come here when we visit Plymouth. We first came for breakfast. The Full English is very tasty and represents great value for money. We then bought a selection of Portuguese cakes to take home. The pasteis da nana are amazing, lovely crispy pastry and plenty of filling. Last night we went for dinner. The bacalhau com natas was lovely and creamy, whilst my partnerâs grilled beef with mushroom sauce was delicious. Had a very nice bottle of red, too. Once again, bought some pasteis to take home. Obrigado!

Fresh, simple and Italian is the best description of our food. You can look at our chefs while they stretch the pizza dough or the pasta for the tagliatelle, and ask them directly for any special requirements. Our specialities are surely the fresh tagliat
Birthday meal on Saturday night...simply excellent food and service. Our party of four had a mixture of pasta and pizza dishes...everything was top notch. Cannot fault the attentive (not overbearing) service. The location isn't exactly glamorous but be prepared to overlook that if you want great food at very reasonable prices.
