Had a nice meal on the terrace, and the menu was adequately varied to suit us all: One had vegetarian, one lamb tajine, one chicken tajine. Staff were friendly. Beer selection was limited to one (Heineken), so room for improvement there, but otherwise a very nice meal. Only downside was we picked up a few mozzy bites on the terrace, but hey, that's Provence.

This is not on the beaten path in Hyeres but tucked up in one of the Old town streets that you need to walk up to find. What a delightful experience.very posh little restaurant so make a reservation, service was timely and the dining experience was so pleasurable. The food was prepared perfectly and timely just a complete joy! They actually have entertainment occasionally and my friends tell e it is a great place for a New Years eve dining and party to ring in the new year. Handsome owners Fabian and Laurant work the floor with French flare.

We turned up with no reservation at 8pm. Only 4 people were in the restaurant, but we were told there were only a few tables free. So we granted the table in the open window. What a fabulous meal we had. The nems (spring roll) filled with melted cheese and herbs was outstanding. Truly delicious and unusual. My shrimp main course with stir fried noodles were also great. The service was a little tricky as only one person was working the entire restaurant, but the food made it worthwhile. I would return!

This restaurant serves delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. All courses, from starters to desserts, were fine, succulent and beautiful! The menu (âà la carteâ) offers a choice between three starters, three main courses and three desserts and all of us find something he likes. In addition, the service was perfect. Next time we will be in Hyères, we will go back!I really thank Céline and Erwan, the owners, for this great moment and I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Béal restaurant is located in a warm and friendly atmosphere in the heart of the medieval part of the Hyères city. You will discover a Bistronomique cuisine and exceptional products!
The service was good and presentation ok. But the taste pretty poor. And totally overpriced. Its pretty hard to find good resto in hyeresWe are sorry you didn't appreciate your visit in our restaurant. We would really wanted to discuss with you about what you didn't like. You must know that we work with fresh products produced locally. We cook all our dishes and do our best to minimise costs to our guests. You are kindly invited to come back to le Beal and we are sure that you will change your feelings .

Situated in the centre of the village this restaurant is now co-owned by the chef and 'maitre d'. Both have continued the excellent style that I and my wife have experienced in the past. I believe the chef has always been there. Walter (co-owner) has previously worked in Paris in the George 5th Hotel and his great command of English obviously stems from here. The food is all freshly cooked and the presentation etc. is a credit to the chef. The serving lady was pleasant and helpful and Walter's cocktails are a must to try. A little bit off the Tourist route for most, the village and the restaurant are well worth the deviation. Sollies is best described as a commuter village to Toulon. I am sure this 'Hidden Gem' will continue to produce excellent service and I wish Walter and his Chef and staff all the best for the future as I feel it is looking exceptionally well. If you are nearby give it a visit, you will not be disappointed.

We ate on the outside terrace one evening last week The staff were friendly and helpful even with my limited French and their limited English. They do not have any set menus so we picked from the carte which was reasonably priced as was the pitcher of wine. If you just want a casual no frills meal this is the ideal place.thank you and see you laterdenise

We went to Kouros about five or six times in 2015. Being going there for years. The food is consistently good and really excellent value for money for three starters (served separately), a main dish and a dessert. two suggestions:1. chairs outside are not very comfortable for a long evening2. Every time it changes, put your menu on the internet please. Given that it is a fixed menu (which I like), I want to know BEFORE reserving what the menu will be. Will definitely come again

I shall never set foot in that terrible restaurant. I made the mistake of asking if the pate was made there, I cannot repeat what they said, they were terribly rude and threw us out of the restaurant. We were alone, no witness.
