Dined at this incredibly charming restaurant after having visited Villa Pisani (again, not many tourists around which is baffling as this is a great example of the famous Venetian villas). Charming table settings. Both my husband and I enjoyed the spaghetti for lunch. Incredibly fresh tasting. The chef came out to see if we enjoyed ourselves and the other diners as well. Just a great neighborhood place that I wish we could transplant here.

Meals were prepared perfectly and served in a cozy dining area alongside a warm fireplace! We ordered fish, pasta, meat dishes and enjoyed sharing. The owners were very accommodating with some of out dietary requirements. The menu was perfectly chosen.Blubaci Hello, thank you for the nice review ... I and my family are happy that your stay at our hotel was to his liking. I hope to return to Italy soon and to be able to regain our guest soon.cordiallyOmar Papait

I highly recommend this place, whenever you are around Dolo and have appetite for fish. I went several times, as I visit the area often and love to explore restaurants: this is my favourite. The proposition is simple and effective: really fresh fish every day from local fishermen, well executed traditional venetian recipes, an appropriate wine list, in a cozy and elegant ambient -- including outdoor tables. It's a small place, where the two owners seem to do everything, from cooking to attending tables to entertaining customers. Therefore the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, the service always prompt and attentive. As said, I went several times and it never failed to deliver a fantastic value for money. I suggest you ask them for what is the best catch of the day; as they buy fish every morning, they are always fair in recommending you the best item on the menu. Some reviews mention it is "expensive"; but frankly I think prices are appropriate. I am saying this comparing to 1) other fish restaurants in the area, with same or higher prices but with less value in terms of food, service and ambient and 2) the market price of fresh fish and good wine, which I discovered to be very high by going to the market myself. Some other reviews mention bad service, or small plates. Never happened to me, and does not seems to fit the two generous owners; however being a two-men-show I guess some times they may under deliver.Clearly I am a supporter. Surely they can further improve, adding new flavours to the menu and removing those awkward paintings from the walls.

When we first saw the restaurant, we were unsure about the quality and other components of an enjoyable visit. Tourists like us wouldn't walk in, because the location is very hidden. But a good friend of mine recommended this whole new experience of Italy to us, and it was clearly worth it. The moment we walked in, all the prejudices disappeared, as we saw the typical Italian interior. Another positive effect was the well-qualified service. The dishes were beautifully served, the taste, logically, perfect. We asked the waiter for a recommendation for a wine, the result was phenomenal. Thank you for the evening, I will definitely recommend it.Yours sincerely,Tobias Fischer and Maximilian Raab

The environment is very nice, the atmosphere is that of a family restaurant, BUT...the staff not just oozes friendliness and in terms of speed leaves much to be desired. Wine list very well and very important names at honest prices, BUT...in the eating, "we did not own!" Starter who know little, overcooked pasta and rice and as second dishes..seabass rejected and roar just enough. Good sweet and honest account. Definitely not my ideal type of restaurant. Sin!

One of the best ways to search for a good meal when you are visiting Italy is to search for a place where the locals are heading to eat. The Euro Checco Ristorante Pizzeria is exactly that type of place. You can head there with there being certain that you can get a great food and you will not get ruined - what can be a very pleasant experience, for those who have just returned, are as still ahead of traveling to the nearby located Venice. We have discovered that place on the last night before leaving Italy, what was a pity, as would certainly have returned there for another great dinner. There owner tries very hard to make sure that all guests will have a good time and explains in details advantages of each of the specialties.I had some great 'bollito misto di pesce' as a starter with all kinds of frutti di mare delicious pieces on my plate. A portion sufficient for main dish actually. Then I went for Spaghetti Scogliera served in a pizza. You will have a great fun trying to disassemble this dish. My child decided to experiment with a new flavor of pizza - 'erika' - pizza with french fries. And my wife went for Tagliata which was a plate of delicious grilled beef slices. Overall a great experience, worth recommending and even driving few miles if you are near Padua.

It looks like a old "trattoria" like other hundreds but, just listening to the passion of the owner in describing the variety of the menu, you understand you are in the right place. I had crostone di baccalà con radicchio e fonduta di asiago to start, spaghetti con canocchie and then polipo con patate. Tasted also the assorted fried fish (fritto misto) and spaghetti con sarede in savor. All was fantastic!Pricewise is extremely affordable and the ambience is great, I will retourn for sure!Extremely recommended!

Service was very good. Food was also very very good. The menu had a good mix of Italian classics (e.g., tagliata di manzo) with regional specialties (e.g., polpo in umido, baccalà , ragù al anatra o faraone) emphasis on the latter. Some creative twists with exceptional presentation. Prices were reasonable. Excellent for business lunches or dinners (though privacy where we were seated might not be best for highly confidential conversations). Great for a nice meal. Truly an upscale trattoria.
