Pegeia (also spelt Peyia; Greek: Πέγεια) is a town in the Paphos District of Cyprus. Pegeia is situated mainly on the steep slopes of the coastal hills inland from Coral Bay, at the southern end of the Akamas Peninsula, and it lies 14 km north of Paphos. It has a large population of British ex-pats and a growing number of holiday homes and apartments. In the town centre can be found a town hall, church, police station and several small shops, restaurants and banks. Due to its hillside location many parts of the town offer views over Coral Bay and Paphos.

We are having a week in Coral Bay, Cyprus and have visited Dionysos most nights. The food has been fantastic. The steaks are so good. The staff are lovely, friendly and very efficient. As well as having all the sport on, they also have entertainment most nights. We were lucky enough to be in when they had Elvis Shmelvis on. It was a fabulous night. Would definitely recommend that you pay Dionysos a visit when you are in Coral Bay.

âPeyia Tavernâ is a family restaurant and is highly recommended, here you will have the opportunity to sample the âTraditional Special Meat Mezeâ, great dish for the meat lovers. The meat is cooked in the traditional Cypriot way. The Special Meze is serve
When the chef is the mother of the waiter and has been cooking here since 1983 you know you are in for a treat. Excellent value, traditional mezze with a couple of modern twists made our last evening one to remember. The starters consisted of a salad, bulger wheat cooked slowly in a tomato based sauce, grilled halloumi, tahini taramasalata and fresh Greek bread. The mains of lamb kofta, stifado, chicken and a beautifully barbecued lamb chop and pork chop made the evening. To finish a handful of local grapes. The village wine at â¬9 was a steal and a meal for two at under â¬44 belied its gastronomic value. Book in advance or turn up at 6!

We should have gone here sooner, rather than the last night of our holidays. Food - outstanding; service - genuine and friendly; atmosphere - wonderful and uplifting; premises - classy but comfortable for us as a family; price - given the outstanding quality, it was very reasonable (compared to other lower quality venues we visited during our 2-week stay). Blown away by our visit and will be first on our list when we return to Cyprus.

ONIRO By The Sea is an original chillout bar with spectacular sea caves views where you can find delicious bites, original cocktails and refreshing ideas.
I have not been here for some years as I have tended to visit family over christmas when it is closed. But this October it was a happy chance - with warm weather and a lovely lunch. It was busy but it is well staffed and quite efficient. Food was freshly prepared and excellent. A great escape too from the Pie and Chips brigade in Coral bay.

LOCAL AND TRADITIONAL FOOD ON CHARCOAL!! Delicious Sheftialia, Pork and Chicken Kebab in pitta or portion which is served with chips and salad!!! Also, you can try the juicy Pork Chop, the amazing Homemade Burger and the special MEZE!!!
First visit to this basic but very clean, tidy friendly restaurant and takeaway. We found it online and thought we would give it a try after many years coming to Cyprus and never been before. Ordered chicken kebab and mixed kebab which were delicious. Also given complimentary pita bread and dips/olives etc which was a lovely touch. Also Turkish delights after our meal, again complimentary. Waiters were great and very attentive and friendly. Chef also came out to say hello . We will definitely revisit. Great value for money!!Only one small issue was when we checked our bill, we had been overcharged but this was quickly rectified and sincere apologies given by 2 members of staff.

G&T's @ Namos by is a cosy bar, restaurant that caters great simple tasty English and Mediterranean meals for locals and visitors alike. Meat, Fish and Vegetarian. Come and pay us a visit.
Despite being on a busy road the atmosphere hides the effects of traffic and the meal was very pleasant. It is very well presented, and cooked, with the owners always looking out for how they can assist, without being overbearing. Place settings are well done and not consisting of cheap looking items. There is a good choice of food, and the all inclusive 3 course sunday lunch is very good valueDear David,We've only recently gone back to our Sunday Lunch as we replace it during the hot summer months with some lighter choices. Most definitely in our top âgo toâ restaurant list in the entire Paphos area and, in our opinion, the best restaurant in Coral Bay. Lovely decor, extensive menu (with additional daily specials) & wine list and the nicest owners you could possibly hope to meet - Anna & Marios. They are so friendly, attentive & helpful. Anna is an excellent chef & Marios is always available with a wine suggestion. From the hot rolls, the amuse bouche through to the a la carte menu itself itâs a great restaurant. Try it - you will not be disappointed. See you again in March guys.Richard & Pauline xDear Richard and Pauline,It was lovely to see you and thanks for the very generous comments and the recommendation. We do our best and we are so pleased that our valued guests seem to appreciate it so much.We look forward to welcoming you back next March. With kind regards,Anna and MariosProprietors
