Friendly, relaxed and welcoming restaurant where the food is fresh, beautifully prepared and presented. If youâre lucky, youâll also witness some of the most stunning sunsets youâll see anywhere.Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff who demonstrate the very best in Greek hospitality. Their specialty is seafood, which is top quality, whilst the Souvlaki and Moussaka are both excellent.

It's on the side of the road along the water near the town of Messonghi, but not in it.
Words can not discribe the experience we had when we dinned at this wonderful little restaurant in boukari, corfu. It is a family run business, all the dishes are prepaired under the watchfull eye of the owner's eye, who has been cooking for over 40 years!! And boy can you " taste " this experience!!! Everything prepaired from this kitchen, from a simple greek salad, to the fryed kalamari the grilled octapus, the perfect grilled sea bream, was out of this world!!!!! Thank you for your hospitality Stella and Mariana!!Truly the Best taverna in the world!!

Delightful owners, delicious food and extremely welcoming. We have tried various dishes - saganaki, steak, lamb chops and moussaka all excellent. Thank you George and Elena for providing us with such a joyful experience and making us feel so welcome, we do appreciate how much effort you go to for your customers.

Dreadful food - donât have the chicken souvlaki they are just 2 frozen chicken satay sticks not souvlaki at all! The fried calamari was terrible as well. Rude waiter/owner wearing a condescending t-shirt about the slow service on offer at this restaurant. Any feedback given is met with âwelcome to Greece and donât come backâ. I have been going to Corfu for 15 years and have been a chef/restauranteur for 37 years and this once one of the worst restaurant experiences ever... nice view though. This time I will take the advice and not go back to Corfu again it is oversubscribed and the not the place it was.

Hellenik Mediterran Cuisine.
This roadside taverna is family run and the service is excellent. The owner is happiest talking about the menu, ingredients (organic) and food combinations. Visited twice and enjoyed both times, tried different cheese based starters and the octopus salad appetiser. The had the roast lamb dinner, a grilled chicken fillet, a chicken special and a ribeye entrecote (my fav - picture added). They were all delicious. The Cabernet wine was also delicious.

I have visited Balis a few times over the past year and it has never failed to impress. The hosts are extremely attentive offering great service. The food (lunch and dinners) is so delicious! And the views, at any time of day are incredible. Definitely take a trip up to Chlomos and be sure to stop at Balis

Although we have visited Corfu on many occasions we seldom venture to the south of the island but having read such favourable reports we travelled down one afternoon in early May.Obviously the place was pretty quiet but what would you expect. The deep fried egg plant was gorgeous helped down with freshest of bread and shatteringly good home made tszicki(badly spelt)Main of pork souvlaki was so tasty and tender and the chips made from home grown produce and oil were honestly the best ever tasted.Value wise we found it well worth it and finished off a lovely afternoon with a walk along the beach and alongside the moored fishing boats.Greek salad also worthy of comment-fantastically fresh.Hope to return later this year -it will be a must do if we are lucky enough to return

We had a family lunch here. We intentionally picked seafood dishes like red mussels, gilthead and sole fish. Well, everything was incredibly delicious, perfectly prepared and served. The fish were grilled on wood to perfection, the mussels were fresh and tasty. We even got free Panna Cotta's afterwards. Service was attentive and fast. On top of the great food, the place itself is a charming little gem with a gorgeous view to the sea. You can sit outside under large trees and listen to the constant chirping of cicadas. The restaurant is run as a family business and this has a positive impact on everything they do. Prices are also very modest for what you get. Highly recommended!

Home taverna is located on the beach of Ionian sea with traditional Greek kitchen. Cozy atmosphere, parking, our own fish boat, home wine and children room. We speak 4 languages: Russian, German , English and Greek.
Using a word: perfect! The quality of the meals, the kindness of the personal! And also the price was extremely correct! It is an obliged place when we visit Corfù!

Kohyli restaurant is a seaside multi-cuisine restaurant in Ag. Ioannis Peristeron-Corfu. Enjoy international cuisine as well as greek traditional plates from a qualified Greek-American chef, having the best seaside view.
We went once before and the food was good. Went again last night. They brought the main courses out with this starter. They then took the mains back and left them. My meal looked like a film had grown on the chicken. The chips and rice were both ciold.
