Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Paphos. Paphos, the capital of western Cyprus, has some serious historical clout. Site of the vast fourth-century BC Tombs of the Kings, set high on a cliff above the sparkling sea, as well as a dramatic Byzantine castle and fine mosaics, it's also known as the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite. The population of 27,000 is swelled by a summer influx of beach-bound English, German and Scandinavian visitors. A beautiful old harbor awaits, while modern hotels and restaurants stretch along the promenade.

We booked this restaurant based purely on trip advisor ratings. It was dreadful! The noise from the live music was unbearable and made conversation impossible. Half the meals we ordered were unavailable, others were served cold and one was burnt. The others were decidedly underwhelming. Eat here at your peril!

Traditional & authentic Greek cuisine. Everything is homemade, even the bread. Very good selection of wines, ouzo and tsipouro. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday live music. Online orders, pre-orders and table reservations.
Found this place on trip adviser. It's not on the main drag (just behind) but totally worth the visit. Excellent customer service, the chef (or someone from the kitchen) even came around to ask if everything was OK. I ordered the halloumi for starters (never buying shop bought halloumi again!) and had the mixed grill, chicken kebab, pork kebab, Greek burger, Greek sausage and chips. Great taste, the burger had feta cheese inside (yum!), seasoning was spot on. The house rose was from a cask and lovely and fruity, the waiter said it would be more dry in a few weeks. Very knowledgable and attentive. Had an excellent meal (and I only really write reviews when something is really good or really bad). Dear Roo,thank you very much for your lovely feedback. We are very happy that you enjoyed our food and service. We always try to source the best ingredients (like our halloumi) to allow our guests to experience the available quality of our local products. We are looking forward to welcoming you back anytime.Kind regardsYanni and Eleni

This was a return visit to a Restaurant we always enjoy. We are a group of ladies who meet each month to share our friendship and enjoy a pleasant meal. Noise? Of course there is noise because we are at least 18 ladies but often in the region of 22 or more. You must accept there is chat and a lot of laughter... We have not experienced any other intrusive noises. Our welcome this time was as warm and welcoming on past occasions. We all know the Manager and his wife. We feel like part of their familyThis time our daughter, Julie was with us. She was on holidays here and she loves our Organised Lunches. She enjoys the great meals she experiences each visit. She enjoys the chances to try the various meals offered. Palia Elektriki rates high on her list. Thank you Mary for another lovely venue. As we have been here before my previous review made 2017, says what a great Restaurant this place is. Since it is hard to improve on perfection I can only advise you to visit this Restaurant and enjoy every morsel and second of your visit. xxx

***Please RESERVE your table so we serve you in time*** Melania Restaurant is a family restaurant owned by Kannavias family from the 80s. Situated about 1km after the âTombs Of The Kingsâ on the way to Coral Bay. Public transport to Melania every 20 minut
Melania is one of those restaurants you would normally not find easily. The place was recommended to us by the owner of Rododafni beach appartments were we stayed. The people in the restaurant are very nice and helpfull. They serve very nice local dishes and have very good local wines.

We stepped at Laona for a bite to eat at lunch-time. Be aware of their variable opening hours which changes in the week. The servers were very courteous and meticulously went through the menu to ensure we understood the different Cypriot meals they had on offer. We ended up sharing the Lamb stew - it was divine. Cooked to perfection and washed down well with a bottle of Keo. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for friends or couples. A taste of authenticity. Visit now!

Authentic Lebanese Moroccan food , something different and new to Paphos. the only Lebanese in Paphos and the only moroccan in Cyprus. We cater for Non veg and veg lovers. The Marrakech is an experience. try us and you will not be disappointed.
Have been coming to the Marrakech since it opened and always enjoyed the food and hospitality. However our last couple of visits we found that the meze has shrunk in size and lots of dishes are now add on extras. Food still fantastic but sorry guys just getting far too expensive. Will not be coming backMany thanks for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry to note your displeasure at the cost of the meze. At 22 Euro per person for what is 9 different dishes from the menu we feel this is real value for money. When we opened in 2017, the original meze was far too big which was reflected in the amount of food not being eaten hence the reason for reducing the size of the meal. Please note, the meal is still the same just smaller portions with a greater number of diners now finishing the meal. The meze is a complete meal in itself and has been costed for the amount of food we present. When diners ask for additional dishes, which I think in your case was the hand cut chips, to be added we feel we should be able to add the cost of the additional dish to the dinerâs bill as I think all restaurants would do.Sorry to lose you as a customer.

Londos perasma situated on B6 at Timi village, just five minutes from Paphos airport. A traditional cypriot family run taverna, with a small outside childrens play area. A very reasonably priced menu consisting of both traditional and non traditional food
A super taverna - wonderful staff who are so helpful and friendly but professional. The strongest G&Ts ever ! Great to see Perrier served in a large bottle too. The tuna salad was super and the chocolate cake a seriously naughty treat with lovely glazing. Felt humbled when the tip was appreciated. A place with shade and a few sun traps - a great place to stop.
