This place was right by our Airbnb, so after a day in Venice this was perfect to sit back and relax in a restaurant not packed with tourists. My pizza was delicious. Plus who can beat half a liter of decent red wine for 3 euros!?

We ate here rather than away from the hotel and were very pleased with the dinner. I had the special which included 3 courses for a reasonable price and plenty to offer some to my husband. The quality of food, the atmosphere and the service we're excellent. The prices were very reasonable for this area. Our group of friends visited the other night, deciding to opt for food that is not typical of the local region (cucina tipica Pugliese). It was a good choice. With five of us, we had quite a variety, with several of the large antipasto plates, a pesto dish, and several seafood dishes. The amount of seafood in each dish was more than ample, and several of us commented that this was one of the best meals we've had for quite a while. The seafood was fresh and the pasta was well made. We found the seafood dishes to be superior to the pesto pasta dish, which I don't recommend. The desserts were a wonderful way to top off the excellent meal. The service was acceptable, perhaps not as attentive as it should have been, and I gave the restaurant five stars for the excellent cheeses and seafood.

I highly recommend this excellent Italian restaurant just outside Venice. My husband's Italian friends took us there on strong recommendations and we were pleasantly surprised by the very polite service and the delicious food. Their specialty is Baccala (cod fish) and they cook it in a variety of different ways. We all had the menu degustation and had the opportunity to taste Baccala in every shape and form imaginable - also not one part of the fish went to waste, from the roe to the fillet to the tongue! It was a splendid culinary adventure and... if you still don't feel that adventurous, they have a pizza catalogue. We didn't go conservative, but for some Italian families that did... the pizza on their tables looked delicious. While no-one spoke English - obviously a small difficulty - the restaurant is also very family and children friendly, even at 10pm we could see small children sitting with their parents at the tables in children's high chairs giggling happily at their pizzas...

Poppa runs the front. Momma's in the kitchen. Daughter is server. If you happen to be staying in Mestre while visiting Venice, this place is a diamond in the rough, Family owned and operated. Across from Mestre train station and convenient to local hotels. There arent a lot of good Italian restaurants near the train station. This place is definitely one of them. We had the seafood pasta which came with a mountain of fresh mussels, clams, octopus, prawns and shrimp served over a thick pasta which we had not had before. Literally too much to eat. The house red, served chilled was wonderful at about 4 euros per liter. Finished off with an excellent tiramisu. Highly recommended.

Found this place on trip advisor. Thanks trip advisor! Prosecco is â¬1.50 and aperol spritz is â¬2.50, amazing value and if you visit at the right time of day the atmosphere is great with plenty of locals having an aperativ and catching up. We did not eat inside the restaurant area but we did order pre made fish dishes from the bar area which are heating up as required by the staff. Thanks to the staff for their patience with our attempts at Italian and for translating what they could with some of the dishes. Everything we had was delicious and we visited each night of our stay in Venice. We only wish they had a bar near our home! Enjoy!

Plenty of places to eat in the area but found this gem of a place. Had the Carbonara which was excellent and my wife had the tagliatelle bolognelse, just as good. Service was fantastic and very reasonably priced. 2 mains, 2 deserts, 2 alcholic drinks and water for less than â¬60. Would highly recommend for a good evenings meal.Thanks

Either you are sitting in Venice area, either you are traveling on A4 (as we did), this place is well worth a visit. Great value, great plates - fresh fish revisited by the owner&chef's passion. Excellent value for money in a relaxed location - outdoor as well.

complte change from the old Amelia which was an excellent fish restaurant. now it is a meat restaurant however the level is excellent with high quality products. the atmosphere is pleasant and i believe they will improve their already excellent level
