Les Terraces offers dining areas both interior and exterior. As a vegetarian, not always accommodated in France, the food was presented attractively and the quality was very good too. The waiter was very pleasant and spoke English if required.Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Great restaurant with good food, great service and excellent view towards a small lavender field. Fantastic fish dishes and yummy desserts! We stayed at the hotel (which was a disaster - don't stay there) and also had the breakfast in this restaurant. That too was great.

We stopped here on the way from Lyon to Verdun. It was very refined and the set menu was a good value. Service was first class but the food makes this place very special. Unfortunately, it was raining that day so we could not enjoy the pretty terrace, but we will definitely be back again.

We do a tradional and creative food, with fresh products, we chose them during the season. The meat is from France, the lamb of the district. We selected our wines "of the moment" We want to cook like this or not ! Five hundred meters from the center of F
This was recommended to us by the owner of the hotel we were staying in. I am so glad we took his recommendation. The meal from start to finish was just superb. The staff were so helpful and friendly and there was a nice ambiance inside. If you are visiting Forcalquier, I really suggest you visit. Finish the evening with the selection of deserts with coffee- you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much! I hope to see you again!Sandrine GUAY

In the heart of Provence, in Valensole, the restaurant of Le Jardin de Celina offers you, all the year, a cuisine with the accents of the south, imagined by our chef and mainly prepared with fresh products from the rich terroir of Haute-Provence.
French friends told us about this newly opened restaurant (with rooms), when we were staying in Valensole so we booked at once. A newly refurbished hillside property - tastefully executed with attractive dining terrace and comfortable furniture. Service on arrival- and throughout -was efficient and friendly but the food just did not match the 4 star level and was very average despite indications that the chef was trying hard to create gastronomic dining. When I saw one poor review on Trip Advisor, I dismissed it as untypical but later I suspected that the good reviews may have been left by family and friends of this newly opened restaurant, who were clearly dining there on the night that we visited.I am saddened to write this review but, for example, my gambas a la plancha was 3 over-grilled king prawns with a small amount of a tomato based sauce and a small pile of dry ribbon pasta (full stop). Price 23 euros.I am sure that the current team are well motivated but I am not convinced that they have the expertise to deliver at the intended level. I hope that I am wrong and will see a paradigm shift when we are in Valensole next.

Bistro coffee, fresh products made in-home Provencal.
Although this restaurant has a wonderful terrace (obviiously, given its name) looking our over the countryside and although they specialise in local produce, the food wasn't as good as some other restaurants I was lucky enough to try in France. There was a delicious salad to start with but the pork (local) was rather chewy and bland.

Ferme Auberge Food tastes even better when prepared with fresh organic ingredients and local produce. The climate of Provence guarantees a beautiful harvest, so we are proud to use our own non-treated vegetables, fruit, cereals, herbs and olive oil in our
Joyce, the owner, does everything herself, and by that, I mean cultivating most of what she cooks with! Organic, seasonal produce are put together with imagination and a twist to achieve a heavenly meal. Meat lovers and vegetarians (provided they state their preference in advance) are all going to have the meal of their lives. Do such things come at a price? Probably, but at l'Orangerie, prices are reasonable, the decor is to die for, and Joyce will tell you about her business with enthusiasm and dedication. Needless to say, we're going back as soon as possible.
