Award-winning Topaz Cafe in Ashton-u-Lyne has justifiably built a fantastic reputation locally and regionally. The food is sensational and the cafe provides a comfortable and friendly meeting place and focus for local events for the Ashton-u-Lyne communit
Another great recommendation from Happy Cow wry obliging chef well presented vegan moussaka with a hummus topping !!!!! Will definitely be returning as produce is grown on their own allotments.

So ideal to Etihad Campus, Manchester City Men and women's stadium, plus the verodrone cycling centre.Been recommend the carbonara as its a must to try. Which I will next time.We ordered a 20 inch pizza which was amazing and to add a hint of garlic sauce. The tiramisu was really nice which is a must for me.The staff and owner were very welcoming, friendly and professional.I will come back again.

We had a family birthday meal here when visiting Manchester. All the food was very good. Pizzas lovely and crisp. Garlic bread quite large so donât over order. I had the meatballs which were very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was first class.

Food was hit and miss to be honest. Prawn dishes were nice, ribs I had were ok but two other portions looked dry. Waiting staff were great though. Nice people. Desserts were a bit mixed, chocolate brownie was over done but chocolate orange cake was nice. I was a bit disappointed to be honest.

Thank you too for mentioning that guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol, we're happily unlicensed, selling only soft drinks, coffee and mixers. Ice and chilled water is free on request.

My wife and I ate here this evening for the first time since Pinocchioâs moved to their new premises. The standard of the food and service has always been excellent, but everything has been further enhanced by the atmosphere of this smart, new restaurant just two doors down from the old one.The quality was as good and inexpensive as ever.My favourite restaurant in Tameside by a country mile.

Tried the brunch and it was very disappointing. Our party ordered avocado with poached egg on sourdough, what we received was a piece of white sliced tiger loaf not toasted with just over a tsp of advocado on top with a poached egg, the only reason it looked ok was because we ordered a side of bacon. Our party were still hungry and had to order toast. The staff are very pleasant and efficient but the food let our experience down big time. The brunch at The Bank in Delph is so much better. I wanted this place to be good as itâs more convenient for me but probably wonât return as the duck I had last week was very tough as well.

We ate in here on a fairly busy Saturday evening. There is a seating area as you walk in where you can grab a drink before going to your table, however, we had booked and were shown straight to ours, the menu is quite extensive and our only complaint was the lighting was quite subdues making the menu hard to read. However, the staff who served us were very efficient and the food we ordered was very very good, a mixture of meat and vegetarian dishes for the 4 of us dining. A couple of birthday celebrations were being celebrated whilst we were there and the staff made a great atmosphere for the parties involved. All in all a good night out... £130 for 4 people including 2 bottles of wine made it good value too.

I have been here a few times before as itâs reasonably local for me, great staff and very friendly. Quick service and the food turned up fast also, even the chef came out to talk to us ! The food.......itâs alright, not the best but not the worst. The portions are very small be aware and are around £6 each. The meatballs are great, the potato braves are never cooked enough and always very soft. Chorizo only has around 8 pieces. Itâs difficult for me to score because my fav is SAN Juan in Chorlton and this place just isnât upto their standards
