My wife and I are retired Canadian professionals living in Frankfurt for 18 months. Today, between Christmas and New Years Eve, it was overcast and foggy and wet, and we decided to explore the narrow cobblestone streets of the incredibly beautiful little towns of Kronberg and Konigstein, with their timeless estate/residences. We had made reservations at Miro's (highly recommended) because we assumed, rightly, that the local residents would be a good gastronomical influence! Miros is located on a hillside overlooking the valley below. The exterior is unassuming; the interior is very nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, with linen tablecloths. The owner himself seated us at a table with a view.If readers look at the comments on the attached photos, they will see why we were so delighted with the meal. The flavours and presentation were excellent. The ambience is such that families will enjoy dining, as well as couples looking for a memorable experience. (Why dine at other fine restaurants where the stuffy, stiff formality creates gastric ulcers?)The cost of the meals is entirely reasonable for the high quality and absolute professionalism. We will be back again to explore the menu. Bravo Mirwais!Thank you very much! You have to come back on a sunny day to take a look out of our windows an to see the great panorama. And of course, to explore the menu.We are looking forward to see you, kind regardsMiro

We had been more than 10 colleagues and were placed on the upper floor in this otherwise very crowded restaurant (on a Tuesday night!). We were given 6 different starters to share and I loved both the funghi porcini, beef tartar, scallops and the calamari, while asparagus and shrimps were also ok. For the mains I ordered orata (dorado) filet with vegetables, a light and still flavourful dish. All in all combined with the nice and relatively low priced Pinot Bianco from Alto Adige as well as a smooth red Malvasia from Apulia this was an excellent experience. Definitely will come back with the family.

This restaurant recently reopened under different management. The menu is different, yet the food still tastes good. The service is also good. The restaurant is always full. I would recommend that you make a reservation.

I have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed the food. The daily specials are particularly good - fresh ingredients, good value and generous portions. I remember with great pleasure a main course of house- made pumpkin ravioli with a sage-and- butter sauce. This is a 'family friendly ' restaurant, with pizzas and suchlike that children enjoy. It is very roomy, and because of the big windows and open setting , the restaurant doesn't feel crowded, despite its popularity. It is easy to reach by tram, since it is just two blocks from the Lahnstrasse U-Bahn Stop.

It's a nice place to have pizza. Our party of 11, including five children, came without previous notifications. The gentleman working there immediately came out, put a couple tables together for us, rolled out the sunroof so we would sit in a dry place, and helped us that way.The food met our expectations. Downside: cash only and lack of tons of fresh garlic (I'm a garlic lover). Other than that, it wasn't very nice experience.

Good, fresh Italian cuisine using best seasonal ingredients. Fresh seasonal white asparagus were much sweeter and tastier than those at the Hotel Steigenberger, for example. Fresh fish, simply but tastily prepared grilled with olive oil and garlic. Pasta was al dente. Very tasty spaghetti with fresh clams. Good service and reasonable wine selection . My favorite casual restaurant in Bad Homburg.
