Itâs really hard to find a kosher restaurant in the Chicagoland area. That being said if you want shawarma or falafel this is your place. They serve Israeli style kosher food in a very low key atmosphere. My husband loves that he can eat meat out.

My two adult sons and I dined on Christmas Eve, apparently a busy time and not well staffed. Not inexpensive either. Greek salad $13, saganaki $8, We ordered 6 different appetizers for a total of $61 for the three of us, no beverages. Had to wait for a water refill.

Been here several times. Always excellent. Lots of food on your plate. Meats are freshly cooked unlike some other places that serve lukewarm, precooked items. I get a platter which includes rice/bulgher, salad, and an appetizer such as hummus, taboulleh, or baba ghanous. . They offer a $5 lunch special but no substitutions are allowed.
