Can't leave the province of Ontario without a visit (or two) to Shawarma Land. This place is BUSY; a sign the food is wonderful and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is incredible, large portions, made to order, and fresh ingredients. Yummy!!!!! If you are a shawarma lover this is the place for you; even if you have to drive a bit to get there. Worth every penny you will spend in this place. I'll be back!

Great food, fantastic service! Went for a grown-ups night out, but also noted the great placement of the change table near, but not in, the bathrooms. Would come back here with kids as well.

First of all every single thing I've eaten there is ridiculous delicious. The biggest problem with going is I can't decide mussels, (OK, for sure mussels), Brussels (OK, definitely brussels), Paella? (OK must have Paella), and then no chance to try anything else. It's not a 'cheap' restaurant, but the prices are totally reasonable. I'm sure the service was good? I don't really remember much past how good the food is...*Hint: They should do a 'family style dinner for 4' that takes in a few more dishes to help get people past the Paella to some of the other I'm-sure-delicious, items on the menu

Don't miss this place - authentic middle-eastern food in a simple diner atmosphere. Fresh food - shwarmas, falafal, salads, wraps. Some imported drinks as well. Order inside grab your food and sit outside! Service is fast and friendly - if you are not familiar with middle eastern food, they will help you. My wife had beef and I had chicken shwarma dinner - hummus and salads on the side - served on rice with Taziki sauce!! It was fabulous - ate half, then packed up the rest for dinner later that night!

Very nice atmosphere and I felt like I was in little italy with the hostess/server with heavy italian accent. :) Presentation was good, taste was superb, portions superb. House wine (shirez) was surprisingly excellent. The calamari was cooked just perfect which is not easy. veal selection of the day could have used not button mushrooms but morels would have been a better choice. One of us had a seafood dish which was exactly that - a huge dish of seafood with salmon, lobster, calamari (whole) , jumbo shrimp, scallops, small shrimp in the pasta and i think crab. it was huge portions of each and great. All pastas where very good.

Intimate and cosy, this 16-seat Spanish Restaurant in Newmarket offers Tapas, Paellas and Traditional dishes from Spain. Daily Specials and Spanish Guitar every Friday and Saturday night. Date night or dinner with friends, find out for yourself why people
This was significantly overrated so I assume the reviewers had never had authentic Spanish tapas. The Sangria was a little sour tasting and lacked the fruitiness of most good ones. Maybe they use a cheap wine. The chorizo lacked spiciness, the bacon wrapped dates were tiny dates but were tasty. The stuffed mushrooms were good, the shrimp and chorizo skewers again had the same chorizo as above. The saffron mussels were tiny but sweet but the sauce was not flavourful. The churros were too big to be cooked properly so they were mushy in the middle. As for service it was very good but everyone raved about the ambiance and we found it strange as it was very loud with tables tightly together.Thank you for your honest review and for taking the time to share your experience at Lobo. Reading your review, over all, I can only say that not every restaurant style is for everyone. Lobo opened its doors Valentineâs Day 2015 after an inspirational trip to Spain in the summer of 2014. I loved the concept of sharing tapas dishes with family and friends and in a tiny space, where you had no choice but to speak to a neighbouring table, often sharing a laugh as you navigated elbow room, or noticed what they were having and ordered one, too! We have a lot of fun at Lobo; the atmosphere and the festive nature of a night out with live Spanish Guitar on the weekends, and take pride in our Authentic Spanish Tapas offerings. I'm sorry you did not agree and wish you happy dining as you explore other venues for Spanish flare.Cheers,Trish
