Nazareth is known as "the Arab capital of Israel". In 2016 its population was 75,922. The inhabitants are predominantly Arab citizens of Israel, of whom 69% are Muslim and 30.9% Christian. Nazareth Illit (lit. "Upper Nazareth") is built alongside old Nazareth, and had a Jewish population of 40,312 in 2014. The Jewish sector was declared a separate city in June 1974.

This restaurant set a new definition of hospitality and deliciousness. Possibly the best shawarma I've ever had. Everything we had was excellent and the price? They actually refused to give us a bill when Ahmed found out about our mission. We did pay but the cost was ridiculously inexpensive considering the amount and quality of the food. This was the most memorable meal we had in Israel and we ate at some fine establishments. This place is DDD worthy.

The entrance to the restaurant is from a north-American style shopping centre which doesn't hint at the lovely interior and stunning view across Nazareth. Great food, with a decent range of vegetarian options that meant all our party found something to their liking. The artichoke salad was particularly good and the aubergine/egg plant tahini was lovely as well. Child-friendly with a good mix of clientele made for a lovely evening. The staff were not the most attentive but a great evening was had by all. And it has Guinness on tap too!

Have a wonderful meal in what is actually an antique store where the owner cooks behind the counter with small fryers for Falafel and makes literally everything to order. The menu is pretty much limited to hummus, baba ganoush, shwarma, falafel and salad. Each was better than any we had had in Israel. Service is very slow as he makes your meal, but it is well worth the wait. If you sit inside you can study the antiques, outside you watch the street scene. Have the fresh lemonade with mint. Awesome!!Highly recommended but allow lots of time.

We ate here due to recommendations on the walking tour and I'm glad we listened. Really friendly staff that cares about its customers. The falafel pitta bread Sarndwhich was amazing and the staff/owners were so friendly. It had been the best price we paid and the tastiest. So please try. Only 14 sheckles for this (Israel money). We paid alot more in other places for far less quality food

Luna (the name of the lovely soul who owns this restaurant) had been highly recommended by a friend from Haifa, so when we visited Nazareth, we made a point to reserve four seats. The key to great Arab cuisine is simplicity, but Luna complicates this formula with some secret beyond knowing. I had the lamb chops because I love lamb, but I don't know how I will ever have them again with any degree of enthusiasm. Luna's lamb chops were the best I've ever had! After our meal, she served us hand-made pistachio-filled pastries that could have been manna from heaven. If you ever visit Nazareth, do not make the colossal mistake of failing to book a meal at this incredible restaurant. Thanks, Luna!

I'll share my honest, objective opinion regarding Al-Reda, putting aside the fact that I'm a loyal customer that have known the place for years. The place is beautifully renovated yet preserving the beautiful ambience of old Palestinian architecture, service is great and food was never late. If you're visiting Nazareth and looking for the ultimate atmosphere of the modern, local Palestinian cuisine, this is the place!

We were looking for a bite to eat in Nazareth and saw on Trip Advisor had a lot of recommendations on this restaurant. We sat outside with many locals which is always a good sign. Ordered a delicious salad and rose pasta. Both were excellent. Fair price and excellent service. Wil visit again for sure.

In the middle of the hustle and bustle that is modern-day Nazareth, where aesthetics and charm, as well as creativity and innovation, seem to come in short supply, this place was a lovely surprise. The place and menu are simple enough, but offer a hipster-like twist on local fast food. Everything we tried was delicious, the portions were massive, and the decor was edgy and modern in an understated way. Staff were young, cool and professional, you can tell they care about the place and its success. I'd definitely recommend this place. We visited for lunch, which was great, but my guess is this place is even more fun at night.
