In a busy Sunday, we booked this restaurant where we have been more than 2 years ago. We were afraid about the possibility to spend a lot of time while having lunch. What a surprise: even if fully booked, service was quick and without mistakes. Food was good, right priced. I was surprised that the menù was more fish oriented than meat based, as I was looking for in a hilly restaurant. Anyway, big quantities, fresh tasted, from starters (raw meat, strawsberry salad), pasta (gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese or fish salad) and main dish (fritto misto). Lovely dessert to end the lunch.I'd suggest a visit to this restaurant to all the readers; as well as I'm suggesting to put more local based meal in the menù to the owner.

We wanted to try a local restaurant and as it was 5 mins walk away took a chance. It wasnât obvious that there was a restaurant on the 1st floor residential block but inside the dining room was welcoming with clean white design. The food was a good selection of Piedmont dishes with most working nicely. The tajarin and the beef blade with mash were the best two dishes on the tasting menu for â¬30

First visit since 2015 and during our absence chef Odero has been working a while at the castle of Guarene. Now back and ambitious as always. Food is firmly based on Piedmont traditions but inspired by France and Guide Michelin fans. The amuse and coffee sweets are among the best around, love them! Foi gras in various versions was super, as was the lamb. It is too easy to overeat though...

Fuori Tempo: we make healthy, tasty and easily digestible pizzas, using only high quality ingredients: stone ground flour (100% Italian wheat, type "1" flour), San Marzano DOP tomatoes, mozzarella "Fiordilatte", extra vergine olive oil, selectioned Italia
With the knowledge of having visited Naples a month ago, we went to this restaurant with a sense to remain relatively "fair" and not to benchmark with the pizza temples in Naples. But what a surprise!!! It was so good and the pizza can easily compete with the best in Italy. The reason is quite simple. There where in Naples everything is controlled and needs to meet "the requirements" this place does it voluntary; dough that seems to have rested also a bit, San Marzano (Vesuvius) tomatoes, DOP mozzarella and other ingredients also from the best. The result is stunning and outside of Naples, this was the best pizza I have eaten.. There is however one big difference vs Naples pizzeria's; here the staff is friendly and seems to enjoy their work! Parfetto! Ps; don't miss the delicious desserts too..

This is a great Osteria. Casual, but well appointed dining room, service is more casual, but still correct. We were accompanied by a local winery owner who helped translate for us, and we had a bottle of an older Roero from his winery that was just fantastic. So glad we went, I would definitely recommend this Osteria, the food was outstanding.

We are traveling in the region since two weeks, so are able to compare. This place is rather mediocre, and on top seriously overcharges on everything compared to other and much better osteriaâs. Close by in Canale for example you find the Osteria dellâEnoteca, where we ate far better, even very well, for a much better price. Our advice is to go there instead, or to many many other good restaurants in the region that are honest with their price/quality.

The staff were all, as expected, ultimate professionals and our limited Italian was no issue. We sat outside on a balmy night which was lovely. From the snacks at the start to the post dessert snack trolley every mouthful was amazing. This was our favourite restaurant so far. The serves were generous and you definitely will leave satisfied.

In the earth of Roero Hills, in a strategic location few kilometers from Alba and Turin, thereâs the Restaurant Marcelin. Located on the main square of Montà , itâs part of accomodation center which hosts also the hotel âCasa Americaniâ and the creamery âA
Exceptional service - extremely efficient, smooth, and quiet. Exceptional food starting with an amuse platter with at least 7 different items. All unique. Great main courses. Dessert was a sugar shell that looked like an egg with panna cotta inside with a passion fruit "yolk". Amazing. This was followed by at least 6 dessert bites. Top class from start to finish.

I got the impression that this restaurant has high ambitions and to serve really nice gourmet food. I do not think they meet this level. The best I had was the grilled meat, the rest was unfortunately a disappointment.
