We came here 16 months ago before the restaurant was truly recognised and we were wowed. On our return we had exactly the same menu but the experience wasnât quite the same. Bread and anchovies to start with followed by cod and pork loin. The owner was attentive and the meal was good value for money(although more expensive). Set in a back street and inside it is authentic Portuguese - definitely worth a visit away from the main restaurants.

We are a small restaurant that serves a mix of local grilled fish with " all you came eat" concept .
Fish Paradise in East Algarve region !That restaurant serves freshed grilled frish, 12⬠per person and you eat as much as you want.Sea bass, "dourada", chinchard, salmon... were all just great.Staff was extremely nice, helpful and serving food in a great momentum so that you enjoy your time but don't have to wait too long.No booking allowed, go there early, meaning 12am.

On the sea front alongside the Fishermenâs Wharf in Fuzeta, you will find the Dos Mestres, one of 2 restaurants to enjoy this position. Both display a wide variety of locally caught fish & BBQ outside your meal. Meats are also available along with other suggestions, but noticeably every table was enjoying the fish.Carafes of local wine are available, alongside several Portuguese vineyards offerings.Once again, it was nice to see the local people dining in this restaurant. On a Summers evening, enjoying the warmth, you can dine outside & soak up the atmosphere.

Situated away from the centre and in the midst of salt pans is this unique restaurant that serves some great tasting food.We stopped by for lunch on our final day in Fuseta and selected from the tapas menu: vegetable soup, bruschetta, spicy chicken wings and chicken nuggets. All served in great time while we explored the outside. Since it was low tide the thousands of crabs scuttling around in the marsh land provided a lot of entertainment.Surprisingly the menu had a number of vegetarian options as compared to many of the other restaurants in the town.Only wish we had more holidays left to drop by for dinner.

We visited twice on our visit to Fuseta - menu is so different to anywhere else weâve found on the Algarve and really worth a try if looking for something a bit different from the normal tourist fare. No outdoor seating. Booking is recommended, especially at peak times as they only do around 20 covers. Food is tapas style and portions are large (though not massive). We ordered a small starter and then 4 plates between 2 of us. The favourite was the pigs cheeks with potato followed by the pork fillet with a fig sauce - meat on both dishes was so tender! Also liked the garlic shrimps with toast. Other dishes included cod risotto, goats cheese, anchovies, breaded chicken so plenty of variety.Dinner for two including a decent bottle of wine and a large bottle of water came to 55⬠which is excellent value for the quality of food and service.

Three of us were there for dinner on a quiet Monday evening. The service was charming and the food very good. We had vegetable soup and a green salad to start with. The main courses were two chicken dishes and a steak on the hot stone which was huge and tender with superb flavour. I would certainly go back

Arrived at the restaurant a 7.45pm and a table was laid for us. Orders were taken and after a fair wait, which is not a problem when the meals are cooked fresh. We had delicious Prawns with Sauté potatoes and a Sea Bass which I think was one of the best I have ever had. It took quite a while to gain the servers attention to order some water. From then we were totally ignored and were not offered a dessert or coffee. A shame we visited on a day when both servers were in a bad mood as we would like to have returned for more of their fine cooked food. Thank you Chef!. Left this restaurant at 9.45pm.

Moncarapacho is a sleepy village and in the old town square there are several small restaurants but the busiest tables in the square belong to Tapas and Drinks, grouped under shade giving old trees.. I expected not much when we sat down for a light lunch and saw the thumbnail pictures of assorted foods. What a revelation when our order arrived. The three cheese and ham is extremely well presented and delicious. The staff are friendly and very efficient. The whole lunchtime experience was so good we returned today and once again had excellent service and food. If you are in the area do give this cafe diner a try.

At the end of August on our holiday to Moncarapacho we booked the Colibri for our party of 20 people, Henrique and Teresa welcomed us and looked after us like Family. The food was well cooked, well presented and plenty of it. The service was efficient, friendly and never to much trouble. Thank you and well done to everybody. We also stayed in Henrique's Villa, what a gem, first class and plenty of space we hope to see you again.

Visited with friends whilst recently on holiday in the Algarve. This is a second visit and what a little gem this restaurant is. Food was delicious....had sole with fried banana...just lovely. The restaurant was very busy and thankfully our friends had reserved a table. We will be back in holiday next year and will definitely visit again. All in all highly recommended.
