Reviews on Mediterranean food in Maspalomas, Canary Islands, Spain. Maspalomas is a sophisticated beach resort… that happens to have a great waterpark. Aqualand Maspalomas is the Canary Islands' largest waterpark, with 33 waterslides. If that's not your style, just relax on a beach with powder-soft sand and majestic dunes, or enjoy abundant shopping and golf.

We came to this lovely restaurant a few days ago and it was an amazing meal with great customer service. I have to have gluten free food and I informed the waiter who was very happy to help. The chef made gluten free pasta and came and told me personally that he had made fresh bolognese sauce. It was this personal touch that made our meal that much more special. We had such a lovely meal and you can tell they want you to have a nice time, 10/10 would recommend this restaurant.Thank you very much for your visit in my restaurant. Chef and owner Roberto Meloro

Found this Gem by chance Both had daily specials of Mushroom soup to start then the exquisite suckling pork with herb potatoes and sauer kraut, finishing off with passion fruit sorbet and liquid chocolate pudding. The service was outstanding as was the food. Would highly recommend a visit for a truly gastronomic delightThanks

Mediterranean cuisine restaurant with striking dishes in which the technique and the Canarian product are frequently fused with oriental flavors in sauces and spices. An elegant and sophisticated place perfect to enjoy in the south of Gran Canaria.
We were staying at the hotel and wanted a change from the buffet. A tasting menu was on offer. We have sampled a lot of tasting menus and this was the best value ever. I don't eat meat, so there was a couple of things I couldn't eat and although my husband loves chicken, he wasn't keen on the overpowering aniseed flavour. I would have liked to have eaten there again if a different menu had been on offer.

Restaurante Gorbea, is named after the highest mountain in the Basque Country, and is also the highest restaurant in the south of Gran Canaria. Located on the ninth floor of the main building, the restaurant provides spectacular views over the beach of Sa
Fabulous food that is so different from the normal hotel buffet served by excellent friendly staff and thankfully priced in a way to attract smart looking people. Food was beautifully presented, Tuna was just shown where the pan and therefore cooked to perfection. Smoked salmon salad was amazing and lunch was amazing too. Cocktails and drink at lunchtime and dinner were perfectly mixed. Not cheap but in a way that was OK. No kids, perfect. Definitely worth a visit if you want something different with fabulous views across the bay.Dear client,we would like to thank you for having chosen our Restaurant Gorbea to spend with us what it was a nice evening and also for having shared your review. la Guagua Blanca offers a truly classical and typical homecooking with just some modern "twists", some surprise elements wisely added without exaggerations or distorsions of any sort. We like thinking about the image of our Grandmother, always busy in her

Italian traditiona food, original recipes. The Menu changes often. Casual atmosphere, come as you are and come hungry. More than friendly, pets are welcome. NO gluten free, possible cross-contamination due to the small kitchen.
This was our second visit to this restaurant, the first being in May. This restaurant really is the best place to eat, staff so attentive and food is to die for, everything fresh and hot, excellent value for money my wife and I will be visiting again.

Casual fine dining food...Unfortunately NO adapted for kids Under 14 or families with strollers and groups over 6 people. Sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks for your understanding!
Modern restaurant with fresh decor and layout. It's a good idea to book a table in advance as it is a popular restaurant. Centrally located, not far from Yumbo Centrum. We had taco Lobster for starter and duck breast for Main. Complimentary apertizer and bread/butter.The presentation and flavours are good and can easily be compared to a gourmet restaurant. The wine selection is good and reasonable priced. We had The El viejo Templo Reserva 2011, Navarro. It was magnificent and went well with the Main course.Good knowledge amongst the Staff. Well taken care off.

New restaurant opening March 2019: The Restaurant Parque Romantico opens its doors within the complex MUR Bungalows Parque Romántico. Chef Iván Pulido invites you on a culinary journey through modern Mediterranean cuisine. Enjoy fresh dishes, with local s
Off the beaten track within a complex but restaurant nicely set up with either inside or outside dining . Good service by staff. Nice wines and decantered before putting into glassNot an extensive menu which always bodes well as then the dishes provided should be quality.Forget about Roberts Review as the bread is a starter to be paid for with different home made breads in a bag . We were given a little free appetiser of a edible salted spoon with tuna and cheese which was a delight . Our starter was Grandmothers croquettes and Canadian Potatoes. Croquettes were cooked perfectly and were very light . Main meals were a Sirloin steak , but having asked for medium rare unfortunately it was more medium . Other was a rolled fish dish however vegetables must have been cooked in same dish as fish and sauce as they tasted too fishy and my girlfriend couldnât eat them . Desserts were death by chocolate and panacotta which were well presented and nice. Overall well worth a visit and for fine dining not ridiculously priced â¬88 for 3 courses and bottle of Rioja Reserva (â¬22)

COCO "My favourite restaurant on the face of the earth". We stumble across 'COCO' & are meet by super nice Finnish lass named Essi. My wife and I both get a buzzin vibe immediately off Essi and stay.Ive been to a few Michelin Star restaurants and let me tell you  Calabrian chef Nico is a cooking genius. I seriously rate this as 'The best culinary' experience I've had. After me interogating Nico I find out he spent 2 years in Australia cooking as well as his extensive world travel has culminated in mind blowing dishes. Essi provides the icing on the experience with her personality oozing pure genuiness. This girl just rocks it!After 3 courses, coffee and limoncello my wife and concur we have found the best restaurant on Gran Canaria by far.We return the next night, choosing totally different dishes. We have a chefs platter & we are both totally shocked that it as good if not better than our first night here. Totally fautless food, wine topped off with impeccable service.Easily the highest rating I could give any restaurant Ive been too. Ohhhhh guys thanks a lot really, I'm really happy to ear you truly enjoyed our ways.. Hopefully catch up again somewhere one day

Visited a number of times and sampled most of the menu- Steak La punta absolutely great, same with the simple steak, cod - you can ask for it to be just simply grilled- they are happy to adjust the cooking style when asked - and my favourite - octopus Galician style- just ask the chef to go easy on salt! Staff very friendly albeit their english is not that great so Google translate to the rescue! you can sunbathe and swim off the jetty- water is very clear! And finish with the "coullant"dessert! Very reasonable prices too!Thank u so much Bieska, hope to. See u again, best regards
