Seafood restaurant, fresh products purchased daily from local fish markets. Local wines from Apulian and national cellars. Indoor room with air conditioning and outdoor summer terrace.
We received a friendly welcome from the owner at Oceano, be aware that the restaurant entrance is down a number of steep steps if you have mobility problems and the outside seating (in an alley) is also down some steps. This an interesting old building outside the central storico. The menu is varied and portions reasonable so two courses were sufficient and the wines local making it an economical evening. Good value as fish can be expensive.I feel sure that we will eat here again.

Amazing roast pork neck, squid with onion rings and rolled lamb. Didnât try their pasta options but the meal was the best we had in Puglia, and much better than some of the more famous highly rated places in Ostuni.

This is a big Pizzeria in the country side between Martina Franca and Cisternino, very busy during the week-end so reservation is highly recommended. They offer a couple of bases + a gluten free one and a wide range of good quality and local topping (salty and sweet). If you need a GLUTEN FREE base you need to RESERVE IT BY PHONE. Staff is polite and helpful, the place is clean and parking is available.

after being disappointed by our past visits, we finally booked a table ahead a got a instant confirmation. small, cozy restaurant specializing in Pizza Napoletana. we didn't have much selection for vegetarian pizza's and we went wrong in our selections. so according to us, pizza's were average. a must try place though. famed through out Martina. As mentioned in earleir posts, we tried the Menabrea beer, which was fine.

We have been holidaying in Puglia for three years now and though I havenât completely struggled being gluten free, I have found it a little difficult to find a lot of choice, especially with pasta. This restaurant offered me any type of gluten free pasta so I chose orecchiette and it was freshly made gluten free! It was fantastic. Also most of the meat and fish dishes were available to me too. My husband and daughter equally loved it and they had normal pasta. Then we had chicken as we are a bit bored of red meat and fish but those dishes looked great too. The chicken was fresh and delicious. Best meal so far in Puglia and the service was excellent and really friendly. The table next to us had the antipasti which was never ending and looked fantastic. They had offered me this saying there were only two of the (huge number of) dishes I couldnât have. I was intent on having the fresh gluten free pasta but am eager to go back and have the antipasti. It is situated off the touristy part of martina Franca but only a few minutes walk from the main square. Highly recommended to all!

This area has a reputation, rightly, for excellent food. This restaurant, particularly, celebrates this with style. An excellent menu, beautifully prepared and carefully explained, paired with local wines served proudly, meant that we could all enjoy beautiful home made pasta, served with delicious seafood. My favourites were the amazing tempura style vegetables (which I confess to finishing off the last morsels of the sharing plate) and the perfect pasta.Youâll certainly need to book as itâs tiny, but this is a place not to miss.

We had a wonderful lunch at Mehta. The chef, served several âAmuse Boucheâ items and a glass of sparkling Rosé before we ordered. He took a lot of time explaining the source and preparation of each dish. Being in Martina Franca, itâs unlikely they will ever win a Michelin Star, but they certainly deserve one. It was fantastico!

Restaurant Le Capase, a jewel situated in the heart of the Itria Valley, is a perfect union of tradition, creativity and innovation. Set in an historic building with the whiteness of the stones, high vaulted ceilings, but with a modern touch. It is the pe
Serving the local food but not really with any style. Ok in terms of what we paid, but wouldn't rush back. Nice interior though and friendly staff.
