Reviews on Mediterranean food in Marsa Alam, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt. Thanks to the addition of an international airport in 2001, Marsa Alam is fast becoming a premium tourist destination, especially for scuba divers. The waters here are brimming with marine life and pristine dive sites. Landlubbers, don’t miss the Emerald Mines and the Temple of Seti I at Khanais.

Hakuna Matata restaurant was selected because of the positive reviews found on Tripadvisor. It was my fiancées birthday and they made a fuss over her. All four of us had the 200g camel steaks and they were brilliant, tender and full of flavour. A special night made even more special with quality food! Thanks Ken
So when I entered this restaurant I felt that I am lucky that I will eat in this place. Finally I was wrong. The food was not so good, the portions were good only if I would have been a Hobbit, and the staff was not so friendly.
