We ate here twice during our stay in Marotta. There is outdoor seating and tables overlooking the sea. The staff are efficient and friendly. There was a large menu, lots of seafood, pizza and pasta. Good size portions, the house wine was lovely, only 3 euros for half litre. Tables were nicely presented. We would definitely go again.

When you are looking for a nice fish restaurant directly at the beach...you found it! We had a very nice dinner there with really spectacular antipasti (âaliciâ and âpolpoâ). Primi (gnocchi con vongole and spaghetti alla pistachio) and secondi (tonno con yoghurt and pesce grigliata) were also good, even though they did not reach the level of the antipasti (so make sure to try a couple of them). They serve a nice verdicchio a la casa and the prices are very reasonable.

Comfortable place to taste local seafood specialties typical of the Marche. Fresh fish catch of the day and pizza cooked in a wood oven.In winter La Riva thanks to a spacious lounge offers a pleasant atmosphere for pleasant evenings with friends, birthday
Letâs start with the positive aspects;1. Dietary restrictions are respected â thank you.2. Service levels are high (if a little disorganized at the beginning of the evening), and wait staff are most helpful.3. The quality of the ingredients, in general, is high, though it would have been good if the prawns and langoustines had been properly de-veined.4. The wine list is quite broad, though mark-ups on bottles appears to be close to times three. The downside:1. The evening we were there, apart from the cold assorted antipasti, the food was inedible. Just because a trattoria is busy and brimming with locals, it does not necessarily mean it produces quality fayre and the locals have taste. A most disappointing evening.Dear Madame,We are very sorry that our dishes are not liked. We commit ourselves to ensure everyday an impeccable quality to our guests: we buy every day fresh fish and we try only to hire the best chefs of the place to cook the best ingredients. But I think that a good restaurant is the one who wants to listen the critical and the advice of its guests to improve, and so I ask you, only if you want, to tell us what specifically you didnât like of our food (flavors, combinations of ingredients etc.). You can write us to our email address [email protected] look forward to hearing from you.Yours faithfully.Franco

This was our favourite restaurant in Marotta. We sat inside, the decor is very Cape Cod design and interesting. Tables were nicely set. The staff were polite and professional. My scallops were beautifully presented and my husband had spaghetti with fresh tuna, olives and tomatoes. Both dishes were excellent The wine and draft beer were good. We finished with homemade desserts and again were excellent Don't miss this restaurant.

Ristorante California is the most unlikely of restaurants--a warm, accommodating place on the ground floor of what appears to be a derelict hotel. Ignore the rest of the building. Get an outside table if you can. Primi are incredible, as long as they involve pasta. Risotto was ok, but not on the same level. Try the octopus (polippo) and potato appetizer. Grilled and fried fish secondi are perfect. Share--the plates are big, and they expect a group to share. The marchigiani are famous for their hospitality, and this doesn't disappoint. Gentle prices; the house white is fine. Make sure you get the pistachio liqueur at the end.

Totally amazed about this jewel. Was it luck or destiny? Look?! Had a wonderful, grown-up bottle of Le Vaglie of this region (what a delight and surprise), a mixed salad (health!), Cozze and fritto misto, followed by two espressi and was totally delighted! They offered even a full focaccia bianca and the spirits at the end! The Ladies (Alice and Paola!) were awesome, speedy and most kind-hearted. All i (personally as a snob) missed? Some real salt, salt that comes in flakes. But love that place and sadly they are closed tomorrow.E viva Italia!

As it was a warm October evening we sat outside and enjoyed the activity of the town going on around us. The waitress was very helpful with my husband needing gluten free. The food was delicious, I had spaghetti with prawns in a lemon and cream sauce, my husband had the sea bass. The wine was really good as well.
