The service was faultless and the food delicious. We ordered tuna salad, seafood lasagne, lobster ravioli and a side of vegetables with water and half a bottle of wine. All very pleasant. The surprise for us was that the side of "vegetables" was in fact salad veg!Reasonably priced and centrally located, we can certainly recommend. We chose to sit outside bad there was some noise at times from the play park behind.

Sadly, very little went right with our visit to La Maison. The menu is quite limited and is written up in Italian on a chalk board. Google translate couldn't make sense of the writing and even when I typed it into my phone, the translation didn't make any better sense. The waitress didn't speak English and asked for the chef to come out. He attempted to explain the dishes and we settled on what we thought were good choices. There are only about 10 tables in the place and six were occupied that night. After we ordered, we waited almost one hour before we got our first course and we weren't the only ones who were getting impatient. But things got worse. For the main course, my wife ordered the black ravioli stuffed with scallops. They were so black, the chef must have killed a dozed octopuses to get that color and the filling didn't resemble any scallop either of us had ever eaten. It was, in a word, inedible. After our table was cleared, the chef came out and was obviously upset that we had sent one of his signature dishes back. At that point, we quickly paid and left to go find somewhere else to get some dessert. We had such high hopes given other reviews and ratings but alas, from our experience, we cannot recommend the place.

E' il ristorante dell'omonimo bagno sul lungomare di Marina di Carrara
Food is excellent, good prices, good wine, very affordable. Linguine alla vongole is to die for as well as their tiramisu. The restaurant can improve a little in their waiter service, it takes a while for them to take your order. Other than that it is fabulous.

We had an evening meal at the Venezia - I chose the large seafood starter, which came as a series of different plates, some nicer than others (had the option been available we would probably have rated this as a 3.5 star meal, but it would have seemed mean to give only three stars). Of the starters, the octopus in tomato sauce was particularly good. The portion sizes overall are large, so you need to be careful what you order. There's outdoor seating accessible through the restaurant - the night we were there this was a lot busier than indoors.

My friends try the sea food spaghetti very satisfied, I will be back to this restaurant, because I believed I can learn more about their way to cook. i like to thank for the hospitality the waiter.

It would be 1 star if not for the staff friendness.I was here for dinner, arranged for 20:15 (times are relevant). The restaurant offers 4 set menus, all of them have focaccia with different companion food, water and a glass of house wine:1. A cured meats and cheeses tagliere, and a veggie souffle (20 euros)2. A porcini pasta dish followed by a porcini tagliata (25 euros)3. A wild boar pasta dish followed by wild boar and polenta (20 euros)4. A mixed grilled meats meal (30 euros, min 2 people)Orders were taken at 20:30. Some focaccia appeared within minutes. I opted for the porcini set meal.Around 20:50 people who took meal 1 were served. But people who took meals 2 and 3 had to wait until 21:30 (!!!) to get their pasta. And the main courses of meals 2 and 3 were served around 22:10. Times were clearly not acceptable. But, at least for meal 2, the food itself was NOT acceptable as well, completely different from what normally meant to be (and of course, what was served was much cheaper than what expected). To be explicit:The porcini pasta was served with a sauce mainly made of smoked bacon with only tiny bits of porcini: the porcini flavour utterly lost, given the huge amount of smoked baconThe main course, advertised as a tagliata chianina with porcini, is meant to be a slab of meat at least 5 cm thick, done on charcoal, sliced in 1 cm thick slices, covered in fresh raw porcini cut in a julienne fashion: instead I got a slab of meat barely 3 cm thick unevenly cooked (and NOT on charcoal), cut in thick slabs, deadly cold (!!!), covered by slices of Parmesan cheese, and with a tablespoon of porcini sauce on a side: totally unacceptable, it is almost cheating the customer.I did look around, and the set meal 1, although fairly abundant, was also on the cheap side: some plain different cured meats, a couple of cheap spread cheeses (gorgonzola and stracchino), some anchovies: normally, a "plate of cheese" means a selection of cheeses with some peculiarities (like mountain goat cheese, cheese with herbs etc): again, what served here is far from what normally expected when a cheese plate is advertised.
