The pizza and pasta are very good. We did wish that the pool-side service was a bit more attentive, but overall we were pleased with this restaurant.Dear Jeannie, Happy new year 2017 and we hope to see you again in our restaurant or our hotel Shana.Thank you.
Think of the French Riviera and you envision seaside resorts, sunshine. A passion for the finer things in life, and of course, exquisite bistro cuisine. The Improv Restaurant captures this essence, paying homage to a "bistro" meal that is fresh, light, an
From the time we arrived till leaving, La Mansion scored on all fronts. Check-in was effortless and following a quick tour by the Asst. Manger, Octavio. He had us in our room within ten minutes, bags included. Room was clean and bright. The view was breathtaking from our balcony. Plenty of towels and air worked great once we dialed in the temperature, 20-21. Our rates included breakfast and seemed a good value. My wife mentioned that our balcony overlooked the construction/parking area and in less than 1 hour, we were moved to better room view including room upgrade at no charge. The restaurant staff are one of the best I have experienced in my travels. The manger, Raquel always greeted us each day with smiles and insight on our many questions as we mapped our travels each day. Julia greeted us by day 2 with our coffee and juice ready and never disappointed during our stay. Felix was always around keeping things organized and looking fresh. The morning menu was varied and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. We looked forward to each morning meal. The pool area has some of the best views seen and since it's the rainy season , we saw many colored sunrises and sunsets. Kevin maintained the pool area with fun and smooth style. Quick to offer a refill at the swim-up bar or start a food order to compliment the great drinks during Happy Hour, He was always ready to help.

This restaurant is part of "Plaza Yara" we are located close to Hotel Gaia on the Manuel Antonio Hill, with a beautiful view of the jungle. "The Gondola" features a gourmet Mediterranean style, Good for a romantic dinner. Ths restaurant is also perfect fo
The food at Gondola is very good. The service, even better. We had lunch and a couple of evening meals here, during our holiday in late November. We ate in the restaurant one evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The portion sizes were just right, the choices reasonable and the presentation beautiful. It was expensive, but we enjoyed the food and the experience and so didn't mind paying a little extra. We ordered room service from Gondola to Hotel Plaza Yara one evening. The food delivered was nice, but not really worth the price when out of the ambience of the restaurant. We do not recommend this.Gondola offer pool side snacks and drinks at Hotel Plaza Yara. Again, the service is very professional, friendly and unobtrusive. The lunch menu is more limited but very good. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you are not on a tight budget!
Azulëo offers a taste of authentic Costa Rican produce, with plenty of ingredients sourced from our very own organic permaculture gardens, mixed with the vibrant flavors and communal shared-plate style of Morocco and North Africa. With rich turmeric, fier
They describe themselves as moroccan, israeli, mediterranean, gay friendly restaurant. It was actually a fusion restaurant, with some middle east taste. Falafel was not good, if you want a good one just go to falafel bar (cheaper and tastier). As a general comment: portions are miserable and a bit overpriced. The worst mark, however, goes to âserviceâ, really unfriendly but, more important, unprofessional. Itâs a new place, Iâm sure they will do better in the future. And please, you are gay friendly? Show a rainbow flag somewhere at least! Two small vegetarian couscous, two very small side dishes, two lemonades, one dessert: 63$. Still hungry. Thank you for choosing Azulëo, though we are truly disappointed to see you did not enjoy your experience. We are a Moroccan family who created this restaurant, so we assure you that the food is high quality and true to tradition. We try our best to create a fusion with Costa Rican ingredients to ensure that everything is always fresh, organic, and local. The menu is tapas style, as is customary in the Mediterranean, so plates are small and affordable ($3 to $5 for tapas, $9 to $19 for tagines), and the goal is to sample many small plates. As for being gay friendly, we have numerous gay and lesbian staff members, in addition to our family, we have LGBT focused events throughout the year, and we always welcome guests from every background with open arms and an open heart. We hope you felt welcome here as well, and we are confident that at the very least, you were treated with respect. Do you live nearby? We'd love to chat in person next time you visit to understand better what you would have liked to see improved and to have a second chance to show you why we have so many great reviews on food, ambiance, and service from our other happy customers.

We stopped based on the reviews and Emilios did not disappoint. My daughter had the sandwich and it was so good we bought another to take to the park with us. We asked for extra curry sauce and she dipped her sandwich in it and made it even better.I had the sea bass with mashed potatoes, vegetables and curry sauce. After picking myself up off the floor after the first bite, I agree with the other reviewers. This was out of this world good. I am salivating as I write this review just thinking about it. Do they mail their food to the USA? So good.I wish we had room for dessert, but sadly did not. A must stop when in Manuel Antonio.

Delicious food and smoothies. We had the falafel sandwich and shawarma platter and also took advantage of a smoothie and popsicle. Everything was fresh, tasty, and quickly prepared. The self-serve salad/toppings bar was a great touch and a nice way to customize your meal to your liking. The location is super convenient - a cute, fun spot to spend some time and eat a budget-friendly and delicious meal!
