FIG & OLIVE's Westchester location is an effortless escape for shoppers at the Vernon Hills Shopping Center, and a favorite of local Scarsdale residents. Its airy, light-filled dining room is an accessible space for an elegant meal. This opens to the outs
Met some friends at Fig & Olive for lunch and loved the new spring menu. From the dipping oils to the crostini appetizers and main dishes through to dessert (apple tartâyum!), the menu and the food were outstandingâtrue Mediterranean dishes and flavors that you canât get anywhere else. Will definitely returnâso many other dishes we want to try!

Donât expect to get by cheaply here, but expect a very good meal in a very pleasant setting. The waiter will give you choices for specials, but there are plenty fine choices on the menu. The spaghetti carbonara was filling and rich, the puttanesca spicy, the fried veal tasty, and the salads satisfyingly flavorful. Itâs not unusual for the owner (heâs not Italian) to come to your table, describe the specials, and share a few pleasantries.
A warm and friendly place and a much-welcome addition to the Larchmont restaurant landscape. Despite its size, guests are made to feel comfortable here, and families enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The menu is not very long, but the choices are varied and the cooking (by the owner) is excellent.

My husband and accidentally stumbled into "273 Kitchen" at lunch time yesterday, and were pleasantly surprised to find a very fresh Mediterranean lunch, mainly because their food is farm-to-table, the reason for having a different menu on a daily basis, we were told. The food is not only fresh but well presented and, very tasty. We had for appetizer "Crudo of Scallops" and, " Dayboat Seafood Ceviche", for entrees "Sizzling Spanish Octopus", and for dessert "Warm Chocolate and Halva Cake" and, "Bronx Roasted Espresso Tiramisu" all excellent. Kudos to the chef!I must add that it was a pleasure to have Charlie taking care of our table!!Our thanks to all at 273 Kitchen for making our lunch a very pleasant and tasty experience!

Halloumi cheese app - excellentCalamari entree - OKCauliflower side - very goodVery eclectic menu (is there another place in the world that adds kreplach and flanken to a basically Lebanese menu?). Always good, and it's hard to find Middle Eastern food at all, much less good Middle Eastern food, in Westchester.

We have always liked the restaurant, but hadnât been here in about two years. The still have it, but it looks like everyone else knows about it as well. We had a lamb stew and bronzino, both excellent. Itâs BYOB, which definitely reduces your cost, or allows you to upgrade your wine. There is a wine store across the street; pretty convenient, right? And donât forget to offer your waiter some of your wine; they really appreciate it.

We've been coming here for years, and still do, as the food is consistently delectable and authentically Turkish. It's sure to please carnivore and vegetarian alike, with its wide assortment of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Naturally, they offer Turkish coffee for those (unlike myself) who like it. Without going into detail, I'll just say there's all you would expect from a fine Turkish restaurant.

We used to live in Mamaroneck and went to the mediterranean restaurant that was formally in this spot. We went back this week to meet friends for dinner. The new owners have been here about a year and it was as good or maybe even better than the previous place. No liquor license so we brought our own bottle which was promptly opened. There were 4 of us and we ordered a variety of appetizers and salads, from the Meze platter(hummus, babaganoush , tahini, oliver pate) to kebe ball, cheese puffs etc. Service was very good. Only disappointment was only choice of 2 desserts.
