Like most in town, in an unpretentious building we found an absolutely perfect meal. Both the fresh fish and spring lamb we're prepared and presented beautifully. The entree fish salad and dessert featured local fresh produce. The complimentary extras included olives and polenta chips, cream and nuts. The local house vin rouge was smooth and flavorful.

We stumbled over this hidden gem and from the moment we were greeted at the door, we were delighted. A cozy ambience, great food, and wonderful service. The owner has a hearty laugh, a great sense of humor, and creates an amazing experience. Not to be missed.

Tucked in next to the church in Entrechaux, the Ancienne Poste actually faces away from the main street and has a very nice view of the Mont Ventoux from the terrace. It's a classic small restaurant run by a French couple who are true food professionals. There's nothing overly innovative, but they always have great seasonal choices on the limited menu. Service is always just spot on. You might pay a euro or two more than at other so-called Provencal restaurants in the area, but you go away feeling like you got real value.

We had a dinner recently with a friend ->restaurant-critic and we all enjoyed the dinner, the presentation and the wine list. Even though Pascal is very shy with spices which makes the taste a bit weak, but also original to its produce. The restaurant is nicely located in a quaint Provence village parking no problem, nice outside terrace for the warm summer-nights. reserve before they are mostly fully booked Merci worldtravellerfrance pour votre avis Nos menus change tous les mois et les plats plus ou moins épicés aussiAu plaisir de vous recevoir au 6 à Table Cordialement + dâinfos sur nos actus Facebook Le 6 à Table Restaurant Pascal Poulain #le6atable pascal-poulain.com

Exceptional dinner with cycling buddies after climbing Ventoux. Lots of delicious wine selected by the sommelier. Excellent weather for dining outside, plus there were heaters to ward off the cooling evening. Service was exceptional- delicious bread kept coming and they were very accommodating to provide a desert that wasnât on the menu!!! This place is not to be missed.

Before starting our ascend of the mont Ventoux we stopped for lunch at l'Abri du Ventoux.First it is very affordable with a 17 euros menu. The food is good. The rabbit was very good but barely warm. The papeton d'aubergines was very good, a little spicy. the Veal was good and the dessert, panacota with a apricot coulis was delicious.
I highly recommend this place for delicious food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff! I really had good time. Overall, good experience!

We really didn't expect too much from this restaurant. Nevertheless, we were disappointed. Our half bottle of wine was way overpriced for what we got. We chose the daily menu for nineteen euros. The appetizer consisted of three totally mushy shrimp - I have never encountered seafood of that consistency anywhere and have no idea what they did to it. The side salad was puny, yet tasty. Our main was pork cheek which was good and ample, but not freshly made. The only side they served us was an unidentifiable small round of breaded cheese ???. There was no dessert included in the price, just coffee. The service was fine. In the dining room you feel a bit like you are in a hotel reception area. It was heated though which made a big difference on a chilly day. Overall, we felt like we did not get good value for money - I'm not sure if we got the tourist treatment. My French is okay, but not good enough to complain, otherwise I may have done that. We had some very nice meals in Provence, unfortunately this was not one of them.

Based on the reviews here on TA we visited this small place. It's a gem amongst the other restaurants in Malaucene. Suggest to make a reservation though especially on weekend nights. We came here twice, that says a lot ;-)First time I had the burger of the week. It was delicious! It was a burger with ratatouille and pesto cream. The combination of the flavors tasted heavenly. The kids also enjoyed their kids cheese burger. Second time I came I had the chicken sesame stir fry. Taste was very good but the portion size was small. I could have had more. Hence I took a dessert which was yummy too but way too overpriced.Nevertheless a nice hot spot if you want to have something different than the typical provenciale food you find in nearby places.
