We first visited Fion's the week it opened just twelve months ago. It is without doubt just what this area needed. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the ambience is excellent. From bar snacks through lunches, early evening eating, to dinners that are second to none. the choices are great, and the fish dishes of the day are amazing. We thoroughly recommend a visit. We visit as a couple, with family and recently had a big family birthday celebration there.Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review and for your repeat custom in Fino. Lovely evening and great atmosphere. Catered for 12 friends. Portions were a bit small for me but realistically a healthy size - Iâm just a piggy around good food. Best tapas Iâve eaten ever. (Recommend the prawns and also lamb kebab)Wine list was a bit limiting for me purely as I donât know Spanish wines all that well - would have killed for a Malbec but settled for a Rioja.

Started with the usual anti-pasta. Followed with an Arrabbiata and a sea bass.We didn't book but should have as there were a couple of large groups and as a result we were just in front of the bar. Couldn't really complain as we dropped in on the off chance.Food was brilliant, bags of flavour and reasonable. The Wine list was above average with most bottles on the higher end of what you'd expect to pay, but you do pay for what you get.Specials were nice but not for me on this occasion as I'd already decided ahead of time on the choices.Tips; book early and in advance, clearly a popular choice for locals and mid week. Tried this restaurant as on Dine card discount (compare the market freebee) The entrance is very unassuming (doorway next to a night club) and gives no hint of the lovely restaurant. Also has a beautiful large courtyard garden to eat in the summer.Family run, very friendly and welcoming, wonderful food, well priced (even without the discount).Gave my partner a free drink as it was his birthday.
