We were in Lens and were tired and hungry after a long day.We got in without a booking and our waitress was very friendly and patient with our terrible French. The pizzas are well priced and offer an interesting selection. Having chosen, we ordered and were asked if we wanted to eat straight away - we said yes and, to their credit, the pizzas arrived promptly. However, the chicken on my partner's pizza was clearly undercooked and actually raw in the middle. We pointed this out to the waitress, who at first didn't seem to see what the problem was, but she did eventually take the pizza away and return with a non-dangerous version. The pizzas were ok. Not the worst I've ever had, but far from the best.Oh, and the restaurant was really cold, too.

An outing with friends, family or colleagues, come to the Tassili, enjoy a good couscous in a frame between East and West.
Caught this restaurant just before it closed for August. We were the only customers and were well looked after. You must have one of their couscous dishes rather than the plat du jour. wide choice and the two we had were very good indeed. Also good Moroccan wine. Final touch were excellent table mats featuring local WW1 sites. We asked for and were given two Final tough
