I love Greek food. Spent couple weeks in Greece. It's hard to find good place. So the only parking place we could find on a sunny winter saturday afternoon, was one 30 min only place, right in front of this establishment. We had planned on a picnic of fish and chips and French pastries. Well I got a meat gyro from here.It was $8 cheaper than fish and chips, and tasted Way better. Cash only. Next time we come well come straight here and as before, drive to the beach with our yummy to go gyros. A great find . We will return here to eat Greek. I loved it.I had hummus vs tzatziki sauce on mine . Yum.About $13. , but laguna food is expensive. As I said fish and chips across the street was $21 !!!!

Upscale Modern Decor Italian from the Alessa and Cucina Alessa Chef Alesandro
Mare is within easy walking distance (3 blocks) from my home, so I thought that I'd give the restaurant a try last December. The food -- Mediterranean cuisine -- was decent, but not of particular note. The restaurant was crowded with office parties, so the service was understandably slow. My osso buco was on the dry side (how is that possible), but had decent flavor. I think that it had been made too early in the day and sat in the braising pot too long, so it overcooked. With so many great restaurants in town, my maiden meal there was a disappointment.

Our first time stopping here for a casual lunch before visiting the Art Museum and after a stroll in Heisel Park. Loved the falafel bowl and stuffed grape leaves here! My husband said the grape leaves were the most flavorful heâs ever had. The bowl was generous and easy to share. The baba ganush was very good but we missed the smokey flavor it sometimes has at other restaurants. There is a lovely sunny deck upstairs to enjoy your meal where a nice mix of eclectic music is playing but not overwhelming your conversation.
