The right place for really fresh fish from the Kytherian seas... in front of the golden beach of Kapsali bay with view to the castle of Chora ... Try a lobster spaghetti, a stuffed squid. Also you can find Greek and Kytherian delicate dishes !!!
Pleasant welcome and attentive service bode for a pleasant night at this well presented restaurant by the sea. A lovely waitress working in tandem with probably the owner made suggestions, explained dish compositions, took our orders and thus started a very nice experience in contrast with our previous evening in a nearby restaurant. We over ordered but still we managed to get through our vegetarian entree dishes to be followed by our seafood dishes, all well presented and very tasty. We were very pleased with our dining experience and we would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The Goldfish The Goldfish is an exciting, vibrant café restaurant situated by the sea, in Kapsali, Kythera, a stone's throw away from Kapsali beach. Serving freshly prepared, seasonal dishes, Dimitris Baltzis, the restaurant owner, prides himself on deliv
Very artistic place and delicious food with a variety of international cuisine. The staff were really gentle and help us find nice spots on the island. We recommend Mexican fajita and the Japanese teriyaki chicken. We also had breakfast with homemade marmalade. Thanks for service to Dimitris the owner you should meet him.

Whenever I want something different to Greek food I come here - it rocks! The pizza is fantastic, there is a huge selection, and the salads are also amazing. Servings are good sized, the atmosphere is great and the service is great also. The prices are good also and the quality of the food makes it well worth a visit if you want a bit of a break from Greek cuisine.

Ate here twice this year early September, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times food was delicious and service was good. Lunch time we chose two dishes from the specials which the waiter informed us of. We had stuffed tomato and green pepper and lamb fricasse - both delicious. We chose our fresh fish early afternoon for that evening and booked a table, which was good as the restaurant was busy when we arrived. Service was pleasant at all times but a little slow sometimes. Food was cooked to perfection and our waiter suggested accompaniments to our fish. Nice, local wine. Lovely evening sitting by the sea. Would recommend for delicious Greek cuisine in a lovely setting on the beach.

This restaurant is in Livadi, on the main road. It does not offer any views, but it does offer good service and good food (since it serves mostly grilled food, there's only few options for vegetarians/vegans; still, there's some delicious pasta dishes as well as a variety of hors d'oevres and salads.Prices acceptable.

Situated on the village of Kalamos in Kythera island, Filio Tavern is one of the very few Kytherian restaurants that serve home-made style Greek and Kytherian specialities. Filio Tavern opened in June 1998 in the village Kalamos of Kythira island. In an i

After hard days of snorkelling and swimming at Kaladi beach we often ended up here for lunch. Fresh fish, homemade beautiful moussaka, lovely salad and the best fried cheese I have ever had. Wash it all down with a cold draft beer or carafe of wine amongst the olive trees and you will be in the mood for an afternoon sleep. Planning on going back here for dinner as they have slow cooked goat, rabbit stew as well as the trays of fish to pick from. I grew up by the sea and can always tell if fish is fresh by the way it looks. They also weigh the fish and let you know how much it costs before you choose whether you would like it fried or grilled. This is authentic Greek cuisine and family hospitality at a very reasonable price.

If you want to enjoy your lunch or your dinner, or even an ouzo, just on the sand of the beach, if you want to enjoy the bright blue color of the Greek sea, or listen to the sound of the waves while enjoying your meal, then you have to visit "Kaleris" restaurant. It is a traditional Greek restaurant in Ayia Pelagia village, in the island of Kythera. Because of its high quality of food- from seafood to traditional cooked food- it is always full of people, so it is recommended to book early your table, otherwise you will wait for a table, which probably you will not find! Service is good, but a little slow and prices are reasonable. But the memories are excellent!Thank you very much for your review! It was a pleasure to serve you!

Too much ado... Without it being in any way bad it was nothing special. No particular atmosphere, nothing great nothing bad.Very polite staff but the owner was definitely not happy we didn't order enough and kept insisting if we wanted anything more.
