Never been here for a lunch but I have to the whole experience was fab: food, staff and location were just great, really excellent menu, something for all, quality was tip top. We were very well looked after, even moved to a sea view table without asking to be moved. Really appreciated. More local people than expats whilst there.

Last year we paid two visits to this lovely restaurant. This year once was enough unfortunately. Apart from the service being slightly less attentive we had a food issue that was ignored and dismissed. Overall the food was ok. Fresh salmon starter was very small, to the point where the slithers of salmon were almost transparent. Main issue though was the âslow cookedâ beef rib. 2 pieces arrived and whilst one was soft-ish the second was tough to chew, in-fact the steak knife could barely cut it. Not wanting to cause a fuss I ate only one piece and mentioned it on plate collection. I wasnât expecting another plate of food just an acknowledgement that they had a beef issue. Despite advising that they would speak to the chef no one came back to me. I found the waiter and asked what the chef said. ââ chef was puzzled as it was all from the same farmââ end of conversation...no apology, nothing. Whilst I accept that there are occasional issues with meats it was the way in which it wasnât dealt with that made us feel like we wouldnât return on this holiday - shame.Hubby had lamb which was excellent.If this had been my first visit they would not be getting 4 stars but 3. Only on the basis that I hope it was a one off and our experiences last year were lovely is the reason I have been generous.

If you want a traditional family run restaurant with good home cooked food this is the place. The calamari is the best you will ever eat, the lamb chops cooked on a charcoal fire are also excellent.Donât expect fancy furniture or fancy tables as this is as traditional as it gets, out in his garden, under a canopy of plants.Airgun the owner is excellent as are his 2 children who serve in the restaurant, donât miss this place, the Mediterranean as it was 30 years ago.

Eat dinner here twice during recent holiday. Wide menu from steaks to Turkish. Excellent service, food and drink. Nice terrace overlooking the sea. Very popular with locals and tourists. Very good value. Local musicians add to the ambience. You can also mix and match menus with the Khephal fish restaurant which shares the terrace. Closed on Mondays.

Been coming to Bella Moon for many years. As per previous visits the food has been good, apart from on this occasion, 1 of the 6 meals which was the steak was awful. 4 of us sampled the steak that my daughter could not eat and agreed it was disgusting. In my opinion it was the worst steak I had ever tried to eat. Other than this the evening and food was good. I would certainly say it is worth a visit, we may have just been unlucky with this 1 meal.

I love this place.I always go at least once when I am in Kyrenia. I telephoned 6 times over a three week period (starting July 1st) and the telephone was never answered.So I have to conclude it is closed or from reading former reviews perhaps all is not well with the renovation.Anyway do not plan on going and try ringing before you go.If anyone knows what is happening please post here.I am really sad not to have been able to dine at this wonderful restaurant.I have given my ratings based on the many times I have been before.

We ate here as a couple and found the place very busy on the night that we went. We had a nice table in the courtyard and the restaurant serve a complimentary sharing starter of dips etc, which was very tasty. Our mains were great and the only issue we had was a mistake on the bill where we were charged for a litre of wine but actually received a half litre. A simple error that was corrected immediately that I mentioned it. Otherwise a really great meal, not the cheapest, but a decent quality in a nice setting.

We visited this restaurant last night. I had mushroom starter, hubby had calamari. Main course me chicken hubby liver. Shared desserts lemon cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. Couple of drinks each. The food and settings are perfect. I would have to agree that the service is fairly slow, but is worth waiting for. Total bill £36. Yes I would recommend but expect to wait

Had lovely meal. Pretty courtyard restaurant hidden away in Kyrenia.Really stylish bar and courtyard restaurant. Great atmosphere. Food was excellent. Our party had mains of fillet steak, lamb shank and duck all of which were excellent. 3 courses for 3 people came to just over £100 so great value for rhe standard of food. Staff were friendly and charming. Lovely treat for last evening of our holiday.
