Dined here twice during our week long stay in the area. Definitely the best restaurant on the square. The first visit I had the grilled calamari and my spouse had the bouillabaisse. Both were delicious. The bouillabaisse looked so good I ordered it on our next visit and my spouse had the duck l'orange. Everything was well prepared with the finest ingredients.Pleasant wait staff and fairly quick service.

Spago, a sensuous journey of tastes to La Dolce Vita
We came here as a 2nd choice to a local place that was busy. Spago was business inside and outside. We didnât have to wait long to get a seat. First little gripe was that the bar staff didnât ask if we wanted a drink whilst we sat patiently at the bar. When we ordered two pizzas, the Régina and Parma, both 15 euros each. The pizzas were massive and really nice. We had a bottle of Pinot Grigio at 27 euros. All in all, nice night and really tasty food.

Super cute little kitchy place, extremely warm welcome by the owner and the rest of the staff. The food was fine, not really as good as I hoped and in some cases, quite the departure from Italian staples. If I were closer, I wold go back to try a few more dishes and give it another try or two. A local Italian acquaintance who lives in Brussels swears by it though.the Caprese di buffalo and mixed green salad was very good - favorite dish of the night. The spaghetti carbonara was disappointing. I couldn't taste the pancetta or guanciale, and in fact none of the ingredients were distinguishable. no discernible seasonings. The sphagetti sorrentina and the casarecca Bellini were just ok. finally, the panda cotta was not that tasty. Overall, everything was ok, and made better due to the ambiance and warmth of the owners. Will try again.

Booked in advance and enjoyed sitting amongst the traditional Moroccan decor. Service was friendly and pleasant throughout. â¬12.50 for salad, olives, bread and Tangine - excellent value for money compared to other restaurants in the area. Tangine was booked to perfection and well-seasoned with olives. The prawn Tangine was richer in taste.

This place has one of the best kebabs I have ever eaten. We arrived and there was a line up out the door. Be patient, definitely worth the wait.We had the mixed and a chicken kebab with fritters. Both were amazing all under 20â¬They have lots of seating so you can enjoy your food while it is hot.

We chose Publico because it was close to our hotel, but it was the perfect choice. The menu had a lot of variety. I had the gnocchi and it was delicious - a generous portion for a fair price. The bread for table was also wonderful and I had to be careful not to fill up on it! We didn't have reservations, but we went fairly early. It filled up quickly.

The restaurant is a physically appealing with good architectural lines. It is on a busy corner near grand place and st. Micheal & st Gudula Cathedral. It is a French Italian menu, but also in English. The waitress gave it her best shot to communicate, but spoke very little English. We chose two different dishes on the menu and were eventually told they were "done". The Caesar salad had very little lettuce or dressing. It did have a generous portion of chicken and several shrimps. It actually was quite good. The Mediterranean mix was supposed to have fish, but didn't. All the calamari and shrimp were fried without dipping sauce. When I asked for a sauce my options were ketchup and mustard. Other reviews said this is a family restaurant. We like to support family restaurants, so that was good to hear. However, on a busy Friday night there is only one chef and one waitress.

This is a small and deservedly busy restaurant. Booking in advance is advised. As a first course I had delicious soup with pasta. The main course of swordfish was superbly cooked and bursting with flavour. The strawberry tart was a perfect conclusion to the meal. As you might expect the wine selection is extensive and of very high quality. The best restaurant I have found in the city.

A family restaurant. Home made pasta made with Love. The most delicious tasting pasta I have ever had. Silvana the daughter gave her recommendations which included two specials her mother makes in the kitchen. Tonight a black squid with shrimp and a porcini with spec. My husband and I shared both and loved every bite. We finished the meal with tiramisu...delish!
