I was a bit worried about this place, given that it is fairly popular and some people have give not great reviews, but they were great with us, prompt service, friendly. The food was also very good. I was pleasantly surprised about this place.

First night on the island and this place looked inviting. What a treat and fantastic introduction to Limni. We were warmly welcomed and were seated on the first floor with a fantastic view over the bay. The service was quick and friendly from the start. We opted for calamari, pizza, and a couple of gyros. The food was superb and the pizzas are hand made. The portions left no room for puddings as we were all stuffed to the gills!

"Cave Damianos Taverna" is located in a verdant scenery, where the magnificent sunset and the views of the Ionian Sea combine harmoniously with coffees, drinks and the delicious dishes of Greek local cuisine, uplifting guests' senses to new levels.
We went here as part of an organised tour including the 'Hidden Village' and Damianos Caves. A gorgeous drive up the winding mountain road with awesome views led us to the Taverna. The classical Greek décor and the stunning views set the scene. The friendly staff, traditional Greek menu and tasty local wines all helped make a perfect evening. The food was delicious and I can personally recommend the Grilled Sea Bream. We were a little rushed at the end due to the restaurant being so busy and our driver being on a schedule, but that did not spoil the experience. This little gem is well off the beaten track, but very much worth the effort to get there.

In an elevated position above Keri beach, this is a taverna with a slightly different more restaurant style menu. Friendly staff and excellent food, not forgetting the village wine. A great place to watch the sun go down behind the hills and see the evening activities in the harbour below.

A relaxed restaurant on the seaside of Keri, Zakynthos. Though it has much in common with your traditional restaurant (seaside location, nautical trappings, jovial waiters), Isalos is much more than that. The menu varies according to what's good in the ma
We ended up choosing this restaurant for lunch during our amazing âPrivate Day Boat Tour around the Islandâ... beautiful views indeed... food was overall fresh and tasty, some dishes bit too salty and we could have done without the unnecessary sauces that accompanied fresh seafood that speaks for itself...

Remezzo was next door to our accommodation so we were able to eat here with ease. The service was excellent and the food always freshly cooked and tasty, my husband loved the grilled calamari and chose it on most visits. Everything was reasonably priced too.We also used the sunbeds in the garden a few times as they were just across the lane from the beach with easy access into the sea. A good place to visit.

To Votsalo is everything you expect from an authentic quality taverna on a Greek island, creating a first impression that you donât easily forget. The menu is a reflection of 38 years of experience of the Votsalo-team. The base is the traditional Greek kitc
This taverna is about 100m above Marathias beach. The area is quiet and unspoilt. The taverna has wonderful views down to the sea and of Turtle Island in the bay. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was the usual taverna fare well prepared. Wonderful restful place.

We saved this gem till last, this is in a small courtyard in Keri village, not to be confused with the Keri beach area, where food is good but this is a slice of good Greece cooking. The menu is meze and they keep coming!! We had a 1/2 litre of red wine and two large mythos. Then seven plates of good Greece food, tzatziki, beetroot tossed in oil and sesame, zucchini balls, peppers in rich tomato sauce, chicken and potato in lemon, stifado and pork in something at this point even my husband had given up the ghost. She gave us a sharing plate of bannoffee pie and held off the lemon ice cream ... â¬40 euros and a tummy that said do not touch me for a while phew.So glad the small cat was around to hide our contraband as we wilted under the tirade. The owner,is passionate about food and fun..

We often visit Keri, and this year we stopped off for lunch at the Sunset Taverna. The host made us very welcome. We only wanted a light lunch of Omelette, it came with the most amazing homemade chips. We'll have to visit one evening on next visit to watch the sunset. We'll definitely be returninh. It has a very spiral staircase to the toilets, would like to climb up after a few wines !!Good car parking across the road with the hens running about.

The restaurant is located in a quiet part of Laganas. Local products great service at good prices .
We went there everyday during our holiday in Laganas, Zakynthos. The owner was very friendly and very helpful with all kinds of information regarding the food but also the surroundings, no matter how busy he was.I tried different kinds of seafood (octopus, grilled fish, calamari, tzatziki, etc.(, everything tastes great and was very fresh. I also appreciated the salads, everything was tasty and you could see that all the vegetables were fresh cut.I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and a hospitable owner. Next year I will visit laganas again and eat at the corner every day :)
