Presents as a bar or hotel with dining space. Rooms with walls knocked down to open onto other rooms. Hospitable and accommodating our unexpected large number of guests. Food was average to what I have found in the fusion restaurants here. An odd mix of Thai style description with a distinctly Indian flavour... but very edible.. Always having to buy bottled table water in a place where the tap water is very potable is always a bug bear for me.

The first few times I walked by Versilia, I was scared to go in, because I thought it was going to be out of my budget. It is actually at the low end of the middle range for Jena.Pizzas, made in their imported pizza oven, run about â¬6-11. Pasta also runs about â¬6-11. Everything is made fresh and tastes fresh, too.Four points instead of five because the Italian service personnel sometimes has a really difficult time with German, and also because there is occasionally a very Italian mentality towards service (reservations have been lost, the person manning the pizza oven forgot to pop in some of the pizzas, so food didn't all come out at the same time, etc.).

This place is you typical italian restaurant, nothing special though. Also the name Lo Studente suggests that you have lower prices and a special offer for students which is not the case. Personally I think there are better italian alternatives in Jena concerning quality and value. If you are looking for your normal pasta/pizza dish you don't go wrong with this place.

Our restaurant is a family friendly, cozy café with a large, green courtyard garden. Every day we serve a varied and lovingly prepared lunch menu as well as home-baked cakes and other delicacies. We use only regional products and seasonal ingredients!

Great space, very modern and tastefully decorated.The most child friendly restaurant I've ever seen in Germany.Extremely friendly, helpful staff. Fresh cakes, good food, with alternative choices. Great outdoor play area for kids, changing facilities etc, all spotlessly clean.Wheelchair friendly!!!Parties also catered for.

I went there three times because my friend like it although the food is not at all to my taste but at least the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice in the first two times. In the third time,we had the most unpleasant disrespectful unprofessional staff I have ever had to meet in a restaurant so much so that I decided I will never go to any L'osteria restaurant ever again.Ciao and thank you very much for your feedback and for giving us a detailed account, so that we know exactly how we need to improve our service! We can well understand that you were exasperated by our poor service, when our staff members were not as polite, friendly, and attentive as you might reasonably expect. This is not the first time I visited this Greek restaurant. Their food and service are still good as 2 years ago. The environment gives me so much Greece feeling. I like it so much. The best food is Souvlaki. Every time when I go there, I also order it. It is super tasty. ^_^
