Big and plenty parking spots, no nasty steep driveway for your low ride / tank. Awesome kebabs made with the loaf style bread, chips are delicious, generous portions. The ladies are always friendly and happy to explain the types of foods / ingredients to the likes of the non middle eastern wogs, like me. Great place to drop into if your heading east up bell street.
Back to the Hub again this morning. Enjoyed my big breakfast very much, especially the Cypriot sausage the name of which momentarily escapes me. My coffee was lovely too. Service was warm and friendly. The Hub is recommended.Four months earlierThis cafe/bistro used to be known as Over the Road until a major renovation a number of months ago. The space has undergone substantial change and some lovely modifications have been made. It's more modern, orderly and coherent. The gifts that used to be dotted around the place are gone and it's more spacious now and warmer. Today we ordered the egg and bacon focaccia with chili jam. It was very nice and made for a hearty lunch. We finished it off with coffees and a scientifically halved salted caramel cookie. The cookie belongs with the foods served to the angels in heaven. I felt significant psychological pain finishing my half. My coffee was ok but not one I'd include in a hall of fame. It's a nice place and some of the other dishes looked fantastic.

What a great place to eat lovely Greek food. Service is impeccable. Menu is good.We got starter plates of feta, olives, grilled octopus and Cypriot sausage. This was complemented with house made bread stick. The octopus was tasty and char grilled, the sausage was amazing. We had the serve of Gyros lamb as a shared main. Again the lamb was tender with lots of crunchy bits. We shared a fresh salad with this.Place was packed.Good food, good service, quick service. Thanks

More of a middle- up market restaurant, definitely not a cheap eats. For those who love an open souvlaki or beautiful chunks of meat - this isn't the place. Slow cooked lamb, lamb cutlets, dolmades - all the other Greek staples are there except the main one - very strange. We ordered 2 serves of octopus as part of our entrees - one was filled with octopus the other, you could barely see - when we asked the waiter - he said ' there it is ' , very rude. The lady who seemed to be the owner - Vicki was very personable and lovely.Definitely not the best Greek restaurant I've been too but it was good. The slow cooked lamb was a huge serve and to be fair to Vicki, she actually suggested we order one less because the portions are so big (rare to find this). Overall a good experience, great atmosphere, quick service with tasty food but lacking a key staple, which I don't understand why. Will return if in the area.

My husband and I have been there 3 or 4 times now. With our daughters and on our own. Its that lovely authentic old fashioned Greek food which we love rather than the nouvelle greek. The hostess is warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.Worth a visit.

This friendly and family owned and operated restaurant care about their customers and deliver delicious food. They have a very clear understanding of catering for someone whoâs Coeliac - first hand. They also understand fructose intolerance. The staff will help guide you though whatâs possible if food intolerances are part of your life. The dishes are quite large as is quite normal with Italian restaurants, the flavours are lovely. Have eaten here a few times over the last 4 years, always delightful.Thank you fifiB07! We understand the frustration that those with dietary requirements face when eating out. We will always strive to make people with dietary requirements feel at ease when dining @ Vasko, instead of feeling alienated. Thank you again!

Absolutely sublime - home cooked southern Italian food by a passionate family with the freshest seasonal ingredients. Home grown olives, the freshest sardines, incredible slow cooked rabbit, veal osso buck to die for and and a sharp and savoury radicchio and beetroot salad. A small independent but perfect wine list, and exemplary service. Nothing gimmicky or instagramable or hyper rich or complicated - just sensational food and flavours served with passion and love - 5 out of 5 !

Warm inviting atmosphere, friendly welcoming staff and absolutely delicious food. Generous portion sizes too. Personally will not visit on Friday or Saturday again night because the belly dancer struts her stuff and the music is loud. The place has a vibe of itâs own and doesnât need her (my opinion of course). What a find in an area where there are only 3rd rate restaurants and fast food outlets.
