My husband and accidentally stumbled into "273 Kitchen" at lunch time yesterday, and were pleasantly surprised to find a very fresh Mediterranean lunch, mainly because their food is farm-to-table, the reason for having a different menu on a daily basis, we were told. The food is not only fresh but well presented and, very tasty. We had for appetizer "Crudo of Scallops" and, " Dayboat Seafood Ceviche", for entrees "Sizzling Spanish Octopus", and for dessert "Warm Chocolate and Halva Cake" and, "Bronx Roasted Espresso Tiramisu" all excellent. Kudos to the chef!I must add that it was a pleasure to have Charlie taking care of our table!!Our thanks to all at 273 Kitchen for making our lunch a very pleasant and tasty experience!

We used to live in Mamaroneck and went to the mediterranean restaurant that was formally in this spot. We went back this week to meet friends for dinner. The new owners have been here about a year and it was as good or maybe even better than the previous place. No liquor license so we brought our own bottle which was promptly opened. There were 4 of us and we ordered a variety of appetizers and salads, from the Meze platter(hummus, babaganoush , tahini, oliver pate) to kebe ball, cheese puffs etc. Service was very good. Only disappointment was only choice of 2 desserts.

Halloumi cheese app - excellentCalamari entree - OKCauliflower side - very goodVery eclectic menu (is there another place in the world that adds kreplach and flanken to a basically Lebanese menu?). Always good, and it's hard to find Middle Eastern food at all, much less good Middle Eastern food, in Westchester.
