Discover Restaurants offering the best Mediterranean food in Hamburg, Germany. Second only to Berlin in size and population, the city of Hamburg is home to one of the biggest harbors in Europe. A stroll along its many waterways and canals illustrates why it has been called the "Venice of the North." Don't miss a trip to the local fish market (Fischmarkt), the Merchants District (marked by its imposing red-brick architecture), a fine dining experience along the river or a night out in the university quarter. And did we mention the Reeperbahn (red light district)? It's quite famous for its… red lights.

The best Adress for fresh Fish in Hamburg.15 min from the Main Station.Call us for your Reservation...
This was a delicious seafood experience for my family. Three of us are seafood nuts; the 4th abstains vehemently. He enjoyed the burrata appetizer and seafood-free tagliatelle w/butter and Parmesan cheese. The rest of us fought over the tuna tartare appetizer and greedily gobbled up our dorade and salmon mains. One of us ordered the âLiman Mixedâ entree w/3 different filets of fish but he didnât enjoy it as much as he enjoyed his bites of dorade and salmon! The service was kind and generous and we were so glad to have visited a restaurant off the tourist-beaten path.

In a desperate move to avoid German food whilst in Hamburg, I stumbled upon this place. It was very busy so a good sign and I squeezed in at the bar. The head waiter was most helpful and patient and recommend an array of dishes. I went for 3 (which is more than enough for 1 person as portions are big and they give you bread) and all were excellent. Beer and wine selection also top quality and sampled a bit of both. Place got even busier as evening went on so either book or get in there early, it is clearly a successful and popular place to eat.

As tourist visiting Hamburg we just passed by and found the lunch menue interesting and very reasonably priced. I ordered a 3-course menue (⬠12,90) and my wife the vegetarian dish of the day (⬠6,90). Everything was absolutely delishious and the three mezze-starters outstanding. It was the first time outside the middle-east that I got a true taste of lebanese food. Thanks

We visited for dinner on a recent visit to Hamburg. The restaurant was excellent from start to finish. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food was fantastic- very tasty and well presented. Between all of us we tried most dishes on the menu and the universal view was that it was great. A real hidden gem in Hamburg. Can only recommend and would definitely go back.

We opted for ala carte menu, having previously experienced the overwhelming dishes served with the tasting menu. We also came back because of their selection of excellent Algerian wine. The place was full so we were happy we called in our reservation earlier. The price is reasonable for the quality of food wine and service. Worth recommending to others who have never had Middle Eastern food.

Polite and friendly waiter, but that's not enough for a pretended "higher level Italian restaurant":We've ordered fish and a gnocchi-meal:The fish was definitly not freshly caught what you could realise in taste and specially in smell. Don't get me wrong: the fish wasn't spoiled, but not real fresh. Gnocchi obviously have been factory made. Edible, but unacceptable at this completely exorbitant price. These things are a "no-go" to a restaurant having such a demand on its outward claim. It seems that they earn their money mostly by their regular guests, who presumably praise the kitchen enthusiastically here, too.It is not easy to have to pay so much money at an Italian restaurant for this kind of mediocrity. This even cannot be compensated by a familiar atmosphere and friendly, but not very attentive service. Maybe you have to become a regular guest first to change this?Sorry, but this was an experience that we don't need here a second time.

Thanks for the reviews, we were at the Curio almost next door when we walked to this little restaurant who looks like nothing but the food was excellent. Yes there is no menu but they will adjust to your taste. My son is difficult and was wowed but the made in house pasta, my veal was succulent, the goat salad was also excellent. Deserts were so simple and good. We travel a lot but today we found 2 gems in Hambourg, something we really did not expect. And with Prosecco etc. Under 100 euros for 4, a steal...

Dined here on a Saturday after booking two weeks in advance. Iâm pleased I did because the experience was great:- Calamari, hoummous and bread to start was absolutely delicious. Calamari was the biggest Iâve ever had and seasoned in a delicious sauce. We were also given a complimentary amuse bouche of two types of hoummous on a crisp bread. The beetroot one was my favourite. - Before our mains we were given a small sample of soup; I canât recall what was in it but it was also delicious. - Seabass followed and once again, delicious. Two large fillets cooked to perfection and on top of sautéed spinach and 6 perfectly-cooked coriander-infused new potatoes. Perfect! There was red onion in the spinach which wasnât necessary in my opinion but easy to extract. All in all a wonderful meal. The still water was slightly on the pricey side at â¬6 a bottle. Service brilliant.

Modern Mediterranean Cuisine Warm summer evenings. The whitewashed houses in the setting sun. Colour, taste and passion. Matteo Ferrantino welcomes you to a unique, eye-catching concept of contemporary cooking at its finest.
Excellent restaurant! Brilliant, stunningly beautiful dishes served in a new and modern, stylish room with wonderful ambience, excellent service from waiters, sommelier and the chef Matteo Ferrantino himself presenting the evenings adventure in food-wonderland. The quality is definitely at a two Michelin-star level Michelin standard, not just one. Even for an expensive gourmet restaurant, itâs affordable. You can choose between three menus: The four, five or six course Market menu, the eight course Emotion menu or vegetarian Garten menu â plus a lot of sweet surprises including an extra dessert not advertised (and it was made in heaven!!).The wine menu was excellent set against the menu, not necessarily the very best wines but in excellent harmony with the dishes. It was quite outstanding. This is top value for your money. We loved it. A must!Dear Mr. Jes,thank you so much for your kind words. We are really happy that you left our restaurant with such a positive impression. We are always trying to create a special and memorizing evening for all our guests and it sounds like we did for you. We are also really delighted to hear that you appreciated the different menu choices as well as our service and wine-parring. It is very important to us that each part of the Bianc-experience is close to perfect and all these influence the way our guests experience our food and the restaurant in general. We hope to welcome you back in our restaurant as soon as possible and that we will be able to create a different, but equally satisfying experience for you.Best and kind regards Your Bianc-Team
