The service is ok but not more. However, the food is good and the prices ok. The restaurant is upstairs but the staff helped helped with the pram.

Due to business appointments in Lübeck, I paid a friend spending holidays in Grömitz a visit. It seems this is her favourite place, and indeed, the cozy simple place and the very personal attention are special. The food is simple yet fresh and good, so the tagliatelle with seared baby squid were pretty nice, like in any nice Italian city.If I *ever* did vacation here I would come regularly...

When your only fluent language is English and even though you can manage restaurant French, Italian and Spanish eating out in Gromitz is a happy adventure. The Dubrovnik happily provided the one English speaker from the kitchen and we were looked after famously and dined on German food with a Balkan flavour. The whole experience when arriving from Sweden was a bit of a culture shock - now in Euro land no restaurant seems to take credit cards so I only hope the hotel does so tomorrow when we check out.

Die Pizza ist KLASSE, aber leider komme ich mir immer wie in einer Wartehalle vor ! Die Leute sind nett und Hunde kommen auch mit rein ! Der Besitzer der Pizzaria ist ein netter Mann, der auch schon mal spezielle Gewürze benutzt ! Z.B. hatte er Bärlauch und hat uns das extra auf die Pizza gemacht als Bruscetta ! Sehr lecker ! Immer wieder gerne !

Had dinner here, Pizza is absolutely average, nothing special at all. Service was friendly but they were not doing too good with any language.... Mixing up the orders and drinks. Really average. No offer for coffee or dessert at all, fine by me:-) neighboring table of 2 had a Pasta and a Pizza..... Delivered to the table with a min 10 min gap... Shame when 2 dishes can't be delivered at the same time. With all the competition here, they will have a tough time ahead. No need to come back.Ps. Excellent ice cream right next to it at "Fontanella", super friendly and yummy ice cream!!
