I have been to a couple of Persian restaurants in my area and always enjoy the food. I would say this place had very good kabobs with a nice grill flavor (we had the chicken kabobs marinated in pomegranate sauce and the shrimp kabobs). The rice with cranberries is delicious. I had their house side salad which was fresh but wished the dressing had a little more something. I wasnât a huge fan of their bread - other Persian restaurants that I have been to, the bread was more soft which I think I like better. The service is excellent And we enjoyed sitting out on the patio area which was really quaint.

First time visit and we'll definitely return. We tried the combination platter because it said "perfect for two" and had several Greek staples. Plenty of food for two and each item was excellent. I would however, make one suggestion to management for this entree. Since the perception is that you are essentially ordering two entrees, they should provide two small salads (or soups) and two small sides instead of one per order. On the way out I asked the manager about Ouzo and if I could see a bottle. He immediately figured out that we had never tasted it and quickly poured a small sample in shot glass. I knew that it would probably not appeal to me and it was very strong, but that my wife (from Italy) would enjoyed it and said that it tastes somewhat like Sambuca.

Loved the location and freshness of the menu. We shared the Harissa spiced hummus for an appetizer and it was very nice with good flavor. Two of us had the Greek bowl as an entree and had salmon added. We were both surprised at the size of the salad and even more the size of the salmon. It was good, but really didnât consider it a great value... have had much better. Itâs rare that I rate a restaurant for that isnât exceptional or very poor. But I feel The Lazy Goat has more potential especially when folks are looking for quality and value. Hopefully they will improve.

If youâre looking for something different, this is the place. This place is awesome!! We went for a late lunch and had the place to ourselves. The hostess made sure to ask whether we had any dietary restrictions (we donât) and then let us choose our seats. We both got the cardamom teaâsuper refreshing! For our meal the selections were a fresh salad with lime and peppers, soft, comforting chick peas in a hearty sauce, chicken kebab, some sort of beef ragu and farfalle pasta, sautéed mushrooms, and rice with lentils. Everything was unique and flavorfulâeverything was fresh and delicious! Our server was very friendly and attentive. You could tell that she genuinely appreciated and enjoyed the food as well. I will DEFINITELY come here again!
