Delicious fish, freshly caught (by submarine fishing, hence a respectful way of fishing for the environment) the very same day, perfectly cooked, with a nice view on the sea. Difficult to expect more. We did not really enjoy the house white wine, but fair enough for the price.

After cycling around mljet - we stopped here for a quick lunch. We had omlettes and beer and it was really good. The view is spectacular and you can spend a lot of time just sipping and admiring the beautiful view.

Our whole time on Mljet was magical, and eating at Calypso was one of the highlights that contributed to this experience. In fact, we didn't eat anywhere else during our stay on Mljet! The service was friendly, prompt, and wonderful -- thank you to the three beautiful women who kept us happy and well-fed during our time there. Highlights on the menu include the grilled mixed vegetable (beautiful, fresh produce!), the Dalmatian chard (the best offering we tried in all of Croatia), and the seafood risotto. We had a beautiful view of the sunset during our last evening on Mljet. Quality of food was top notch -- you could tell that these were fresh ingredients prepared with care. Vegan and vegetarian friendly! It was fun to watch the restaurant staff usher in the boats from the harbor. We came here for every meal on Mljet and wouldnât have gone anywhere else! Highly, highly recommend.

During our Croatian sailing adventure, we enjoyed our stay at the island of Pomena, especially with the kind assistance of Stanko who exceeded our expectation of helpful restaurant staff. We were treated with exceptional kindness and a delicious meal of local fare, fish, lamb and octopus. A delightful evening was had by all.

My mother and I truly enjoyed our meal here! We had the seafood risotto and seafood pasta and it was purely delicious. The prices are affordable and the portions are just perfect. We also had an incredible waiter. The atmosphere is very relaxed and warm. I truly recommend it if you are on the island !

Fish was good to excellent. Lobster with pasta was frozen, which was honestly explained by the waiter. House wine so so. Grilled pork just average. For this level of quality expensive...Lobster with pasta was frozen and it always is if you choose that in the menu and it cost 500kn for two, but in the menu have fresh live lobster on the kilogram,then you choose it in aquarium with live lobsters which is in front of restaurant and offcourse the price is much different.

We were so glad we read the sign on our way back from the lakes, because we decided to have dinner tonight at the Dalmatino for our last night in Pomena.What a lovely little restaurant and away from the maddening crowd which is a plus. It's up a little hill and the view is lovely of the Pomena port and then the forest on the other side, whilst eating your dinner on a cute terrace.The owner I'm assuming was our waiter and I know some complain about his lack of what most customers expect from other waiters etc but, trust me, their hospitality is fake beyond belief. The owner here on the other hand is very real and genuine, if you're pleasant to him, he's very pleasant back in his own endearing way. A truly nice man indeed.Anyway to the food. The fish my wife and I ordered tonight was fresh and tasty as hell! I was so glad I ordered it too, otherwise I would certainly have had food envy from her. A wonderful meal, in a very beautiful setting.This family run restaurant is an absolute must if you are ever in Pomena.I would definitely return and try the pots, which I hear are very special.

Some of the best seafood I have experienced! The staff are lovely and attentive and take pride in their food and service. Most of the seafood comes, quite literally, from the water right in front of the restaurant...highly recommend that you reserve a table to avoid disappointment. Enjoy

We went there for lunch (quite early). The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. We shared octopus salad and had black risotto as well as grilled squid. We can't praise it high enough! Also, it was a nice change to the monotonous buffet food of the hotel where we stayed in. Overall, it was a good value for money.

Great dinner last night at this bayside restaurant. Visited earlier in the day and offered a table on the terrace to see the sunset - but we were a bit late arriving so missed it.Wonderful meal - mix of calamari starters, cattle fish risotto, chicken and steaks perfectly cooked. Decent wine list sensibly priced and attentive waiters. Well worth the visit.
