We spotted this restaurant as we where walking down the main strip looking for a nice dinner spot. We where greeted by a guy claiming he was Italian and sold the food really well. We took a seat and waited 20 minutes for our drinks. 30 minutes after ordering food we where then told the Hummus was not available! My friend had the prawns, absolutely drowned in stale oil. Peppers with feta where soggy and not Tasty. They tried to sell the salmon tagliatelle to me around 3 times until I gave in and ordered it, this came out hard cold and disgusting. I can 1000% guarantee it was warmed up from frozen. The kitchen staff where frantic and stressed, we could hear them arguing. Honestly just so disappointing as itâs a cute spot for dinner! Thankfully the manager removed all of the food from the bill, we left straight away. On our way to the dive centres around the area, we stopped by for lunch.I regret that this was a terrible mistake. Service was slow (we were ignored multiple times), my cocktail had barely any alcohol in it and the tuna burger was as good as unseasoned.If it was half priced I might have let them off, but it is considered costly for such lacklustre standardsHello Christopher_SNZ,thanks for your visit, we are sorry your did not have a good experience as most of our guests do. We do apologies for for an inattentive service, we surely make sure this will not happen again. All our cocktails have between 40 and 50ml of alcohol in it, regarding the unseasoned Tuna Burger I am sure we could have fix it if you asked to speak to the management. Regarding the prices, I am actually surprised to hear so as our prices are in line with the Island, and unfortunately the cost of goods are higher in such a remote location, due to the transport from main land. We had a great dinner here (twice as we liked the food so much) and had delicious tapas options. Great place for the sunset and away from the hustle and bustle. We found that place because a local recommended us to eat there. And we absolutely loved it !! Once you arrive youâre discovering a small piece of paradise on the beach, with cute decorations, tables and a warm welcome from all the staff. Then after youâre starting to eat their food and the small piece of paradise finds its place now in your mouth because it was really delicious.... The cocktails were great too. We liked it so much that we came back few times during our stay in Gili. They have an amazing menu with a large choice of vegetarian and vegan meals. You can definitely go there with closed eyes, support them, and enjoy it !!!Thank you! So sweet! Means a lot!

We had booked a table here for a birthday meal on the beach, service was excellent as was the food. We had garlic prawns, calamari (which was amazing!!) and bruschetta to start followed by yellow curry and steak. Despite hesitations the steak was cooked beautifully! Followed by a special birthday chocolate molten lava cake which was gooey in all the right places! A shame there was a lack of atmosphere or people dining but the food is superb you have to try it!! Thank you to the team for making a special birthday extra special

We went there for dinner with 4 based on the positive reviews.Arrived - the place is empty - as we had booked still stayed... wish we had not.Ordered salads for starters which were ok but bland. Bread was stale. Pasta dish with prawn completely taste free. My pizza was horrible with gritty cheese and tasteless sausages. The Italian owner was apologetic and took both of the bill - I changed for a decent pasta with beef Raghu. Staff very friendly. In all when 2 of 4 dishes are a miss a disappointing experience. I understand why there was no one... apart from the location which is nice...
